Steve and Siobhan - stayed 8th Jan 2016 for 2 nights Fantastic large old house 5 minutes walk from the main square. Despite the central location the house was extremely peaceful and quiet. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable - it also had its own private bathroom and living area with fridge. A generous... More

I enjoyed my stay here a lot. The family is really lovely and help you with everything you need and are always up for a chat. Breakfast is really, really good including eggs, fruits, coffee, juice, cheese etc.

Absolutly great place to stay! Carlos and his family where great hosts. His suggestions for dinner where spot on (Restaurant "La Ceiba"!)! Breakfast was the best, freshly pressed/mixed juice, plate of fruits of the season, eggs (however you like them!) and bread, simply magnificent. The room was great, with AC and a ventilator, which suficed for us.

My family and I rented 3 rooms at Casa Albalat in August 2014. Coming from Havana where we had a bad experience renting a flat, this house made a nice impression. It was exactly what I expected: clean and spacious, and friendly. Carlos and his family were great hosts. We felt relaxed, almost at home.

We stayed for 3 nights in this quaint old colonial house full of antiques, exceptionally well located in Trinidad. Clean rooms, hot water, air con, rooms fully equipped with 220 volt power points, a luxury to be able to recharge and use electrical items. We felt really at home in their house, like part of the family. Carlos is a character... More

We stayed back in Dec 12 (been a little lazy putting up the review!). We stayed for 5 nights and we couldn't fault the place (well, im sure we could but this is Cuba!). We had TWO double beds which was great as it was soooo hot it meant we could have our own space. Although he spoke very limited... More

I stayed at this casa particular for 4 nights. The location is good, in the centre of town and within walking distance of Plaza Mayor (5 min) and most of the other points of interest in Trinidad. The room was comfortable with a large bed, nightstand, fridge, fan and attached bathroom with a good flow of water from the shower... More
