The smell of cat/dog as soon as we walked in was disgusting. Made us both feel sick! The guesthouse is part of a larger wooden building with zero noise insulation. We had noisy neighbours who one morning came in at 2.30. You could hear everything including what was happening in the bathroom !! We were expected to share the safe,...

Absolutly the best for first-time-visitors to New Zealand plus after a long-distance-flight. Fantastic view over the bay. Friendly owners and staff. A nice family flat with two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a build in timber livingroom with a relaxing calm atmosphere. Our best choice for the start.

It wouldn't take much to make this a five star review, but it won't take to much more to make it a one star either. We stayed at Kennedy Point before an 18 day cruise around New Zealand and Australia. We decided on the property because of the reviews and the fact it was on a winery property. And the...

For the price, this was not great. It was not very clean. We stayed in the Tui cottage side, which is the not very nice part of the guest house. If you stayed in the entire thing, it would be fine. The cottage has a kitchenette, but is not very well designed and fairly cramped for our group of four....

We chose New Zealand because of Kennedy Point, and we're glad we did. We won a silent auction bid for 2 nights in the guesthouse at the Honolulu 2014 Heart Ball. One of the owners was raised in Hawaii, so I guess they always donate. The house was beautiful and perfect. We were lucky and no one else was staying...

The self contained guesthouse is a great size, it has a separate kitchen, living room, dining room and bedroom. Take advantage of the deck and use the BBQ. The views from the front deck are a wonderful place to enjoy your breakfast etc. We purchased breakfast supplies in town and prepared some of our own meals. I could not find...

Hubbie and I spent the weekend there for our wedding anniversary. The Guesthouse was just perfect. A lockwood style with fully equipped kitchen, dinning and lounge. The bedroom had the bathroom off it. We were surprised to find books, a decent radio/CD player (selection of CDs available - although mainly classical), playing cards and even board games available! The place...

Ideal for two couples travelling so you don't have the issues with privacy and can open up the house. Its a great place from where to explore the island and the casual house is very good value and absolutely private. It's great to indulge with a BBQ, buying a bottle or more of their fantastic wine and sit on the...

We stayed in the guest house at Kennedy Point during January 2013. Upon arrival it was clear that the website does not do this place justice. The setting and views are great and the accomodation was comfortable. Good points: 1. Accomodating hosts during booking period i.e. arranged for port-a-cot and happy birthday banner in the room 2. Good value for...

We stayed at Kennedy's for two nights and the first thing you experience is the fantastic hospitality of the owner Ymile - she is just lovely and nothing is too much effort for her. She really goes the extra mile .. rose petals in our room, bubbly, she booked a lady to do a massage at our place and we...
