We stayed as two couples overnight at Punga Lodge in one of 'chalets'. When we arrived we found the reviews we had read both on this site and others bore almost no resemblance to the place itself, except for the positive comments about the quality...More

You cannot beat the personalised service and attention from the owners. Location is awesome - a three minute walk to Little Oneroa beach, great takeaways, great kids playground, and store. 12 minute walk into Oneroa which is chock full of cafes and restaurants and little...More

This place is surrounded with great amount of trees which was really great. Not much noise here. We were on room number 1 on the main building. The rooms seemed alright but it was too hot from morning till the sun goes down. Night was...More

Thank you for your comments - sorry about the spiders! The cleaners have a wonderful tool for dusting up high to get the pesky creatures and obviously they didn't do their job properly that day so my apologies for this. I will be taking this...More

We stayed 2 nights and were treated to friendly, humorous and assistance second to none. The sounds of tui and wood pigeons in the mornings were relaxing, Dyan's breakfast, morning and afternoon teas were first class. A real bonus was their assistance with ferry bookings.

Hi Dyan, I don't know if you will remember us ? We came to stay with you with our little dog Candy last November where we attended our dear friends funeral. Our friends are visiting from UK and they have been booked in with you on 27/28 th January. Our Friend, Bernice Burge booked them in. This is a long shot but do you have a dog friendly room available them two nights? Dear Bernice is in hospital, desperately ill. I've just had a call from her friend and IF she comes out of hospital I don't want her having to worry about us. She is in hospital in Auckland and we would visit her on our way over and back. Bernices health has been failing fast so it's a bit of a shock. I'm just unsure what to do. Whether to still come with our guests as ferry booked and you're booked. So just thought I'd ask on the off chance. We're not fussy at anything would do. I just don't want to add stress to Bernice if she does get home and want to see her, probably for the last time. If you don't have any dog friendly rooms I will know what direction to go in. We may even need to cancel our friends two nights (obviously at our expense). Apologies fir mumbled message. Wendy Hinde

Thank you for your interest. We do have limited parking at Punga Lodge but ensure that those who indicate they need parking first, do get parking. So if you are interested in booking now for March, there won't be a problem... More
