This is a nice choice for a motel in Picton and the operators were helpful. We had one of the higher level studio apartments which was spacious, very clean and has a nice balcony overlooking the harbour. The studio has basic cooking facilities (2 modern hot plates) typical of NZ motels. I got the impression that this was one of...

When we left New Zealand to return home, our heart remained in Picton. The fantastic beauty of the landscape, the alluring wilderness of the Sounds, the idyllic harbor, the chic architecture of the houses - we have been mystically and effortlessly drawn into the quiet charm of Picton. Our two night stay here was utterly enhanced by a truly mind-blowing...

We stayed here in 2011, and were delighted to return in Feb 2015.. This is a clean comfortable well-functioning motel, in an ideal location in central Picton, with a great view over the harbour and the Sounds

As a group of 6, Ian went above and beyond. We stayed in 3 adjoining apartments on the first night before taking off on the QCT. He recommended us to a great restaurant, Cortado, where we got a free drink each, he took us to the ferry the next morning and met us on our return where we stayed in...

Cant comnment on the main motel as we stayed in their 3 bedroom apartment which is located off site in the town centre overlooking the harbour. The view was just AMAZING! the quality and fit out was second to none. I didnt much like the red rose picture in the main living area (especially next to blue flowers!) but this...

We stayed 1 night in a 2 bedroom unit. It was clean, roomy had great cooking facilities and a fantastic view. Both bedrooms were good size and the beds comfy. Bathroom was roomy and clean. This motel also had the best SKY TV offering of our entire 14 day trip. On the day of our departure, the manager offered to...

We stayed in the luxury apartment and it was way more than we had expected. It was beautiful and very modern. Actually you can sleep there with at least 8 people and we were only a family of 4. It had 3 bathrooms. There was a huge balcony with a stunning view. The only concern we had was that when...

Stayed here for two nights after travelling on the ferry from Christchurch, although it is not very far from the harbour, it is worth contacting them before you get there to arrange to come and pick you up which they are happy to do and don't charge for. The accom adaption is typical motel accomodation but is clean, has reasonable...

Here for two days on a business trip with my wife. REALLY LOVED the location and everything we could walk to near the hotel. Room was clean, modern and had everything we needed. Ian and Kim are the best hosts ever! Anything we needed or asked for was provided including "office" assistance, directions and local advice. If you need to...

The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The view from the balcony over the harbour was delightful and a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine (from the nearby BottleO), and watch the world go by. However what surely sets this place apart from other motels in Picton is the helpfulness and friendliness of Kim and Ian. At...
