This is a beautifully restored Victorian home with lovely rooms and baths. In addition the hosts have found the perfect balance between friendly helpfulness and unobtrusiveness. It really is a pleasant stay. We stayed in the front bedroom which is large and pretty with a small sitting area. The bathroom, also large, was very clean and comfortable while retaining a...

Fernview Cottage is the perfect base for anyone wishing to walk the Queen Charlotte Track. The accommodation is delightful, the breakfasts perfect for a big walk ahead (cereals, fruit salad, yogurt, toast), and lovely hosts with the right balance of 'checking in' with their guests. Don't change a thing!

Both Carly and Greg made us very welcome, with real help planning our day on the QCT, even dropping us off at the marina after a trip to the bakery! Wonderful room and Picton was one of our favourite locations on a wonderful trip. Thanks a lot

Greg and Carly have a lovely villa in a quiet location near the marina. We stayed there before walking the Queen Charlotte Track, and at the end of our walk. Greg has lots of knowledge about the walk and is only too happy to share it with others. The house is beautifully fitted out, and both rooms have lots of...

We had the twin room behind the stairs with a separate bathroom - beautifully set out. Breakfast was dlicious and served with plenty of time before our pick...

We absolutely loved this period cottage tucked quietly away in the town of Picton. Our ground floor room was beautiful. It was spacious, high-ceilinged and very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was just grand - loved the bath and shower arrangement. Carly and Greg welcomed us with a glass of wine and were unobtrusive, helpful and attentive host who have...

We had a wonderful night here on our way through this area. Location is very close to the ferry, right on a short walking path to the village and places to eat. Our bed was very comfortable. We both slept soundly. Would recommend this very highly.

Well appointed period cottage.High attention to detail. Quiet location yet close to Picton town centre and eateries. Attentive but unobtrusive hosts who were always willing to oblige. Well worth a visit to Picton just to experience " Fernview Cottage". 10/10 Greg & Carlie.
