G'day Melina, Thanks for staying with us and for your mostly good comments. Re the noise, we're sorry if you found it too noisy. It is a hostel so there will always be noise with people socialising. We do try and have the music off and noise down by 11pm on weekdays and 1am on weekends. All in all, I...

I stayed a few weeks at Pirates and would definitely go back. It is very centrally situated and the staff are super friendly and make a big effort to accommodate people and also there are activities organised by the hostel every day to participate in. I liked that it felt small and personal.

What a great team of people whom worked here, what was great was they all addressed you by their name - it really was a nice touch. I was booked into a private room - with a fridge - very handy. I went indoor climbing ($12/20) for the first time which was great, and did a little paddle boarding $5....

I liked it so much when I visited 10 years ago that I thought that I would go back. Still as friendly as ever. Central location, you can get virtually anywhere from there. Comfortable bed on a budget.

Thanks Tes for coming back 10 years later! I had only just recently purchased Pirates 10 years ago. It seems a long time ago. But I'm really happy to hear that it's still as friendly as it was 10 years ago. That'll never change! :) Take care and see you in another 10 years :) Vaughan

There is Fremantle markets which is also heritage listed and a great place to sample food from all over the world. There is...

Two years ago I started my Australia Adventure in "Pirates Backpackers Hostel". I liked it my time in PBH a lot, so after being once around all Australia I am back, and guess what the Pirates are still welcoming friendly and an awesome crew... Like on a big Ship everyone sits in the same boat, everyone cares for each other....
