I stayed there for 1 night, but I got the worst experience. If you don't wanna waste your money, do not go this backpackers. This backpackers is full of crazy people. I met some people who got their valuable stuff stolen. My foods were also stolen. Some old people staying here for a long time were drinking all day long....

Stayed here for one night. We stayed two years ago and it wasn't this bad. The hostel is dirty with lazy guests not bothering to wash up so finding clean plates etc can be a bit of a challenge. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm. The room contained a guy who had be staying there for 2 years and...

Although the exterior was so nice, we were shocked with our stay there. We were impressed with the rules at the front of the reception but appalled with the lack of rules that were enforced throughout the night, especially in the early hours of the morning ( 2-3 am) where there was violent drunken behaviour in the corridors. Some guy...

Dreadful, dirty, noisy, rude staff, and very very overpriced. Oh and don't leave any food in the drudges because it'll go walkabout!

We stayed in a double for a weekend. The room only had one plug socket in which the fan was plugged. The room was hotter than it was outside, the bed was worn, the carpet was dirty and the female toilet didnt lock - they used a brick in a towel as a door stop. The mens was equally as...

Location is good but the bathroom facilities are not. One male and one female toilet upstairs servicing 17 rooms ranging from 2-6 bed dorms and doubles. No door handles on toilets, just a hook and a broken one at that. Toilets dirty. More toilets and showers in the other block if you want to walk downstairs, go outside onto the...

Nice place to meet lot's of new people, place is big, so if you need your own space and don't want to be stuck in your room you can hang out in several different sections of the hostel Only downfall was no power point in...

Situated in am old hotel building the Backpackers Inn is old and full of character. The location is good; staff friendly. Its a better than average hostel; with basic rooms and no frills. For $60AUD I might have expected better in other countries, with at least an en suite room for the price. although clean; the WC and showers were...

“Single or double rooms are very noisy, insane, do not get a room at the top of the stairs, others love to jump on the top of the stairs and yell. Dorm rooms are much better for noise, mattresses terrible though.”
