The Chalet Rosa was one of the best parts of our stay in the area. The price was good, but the two gals (Carol and her daughter) that run the Chalet were amazing. They took care of every need. The breakfast was so nice and they cooked us eggs and visited with us. The room was super clean and neat...

I stayed in Chalet Rosa for one night with my sister and brother. The place is very close to the Staubbach Falls. Almost everyone in Lauterbrunnen knows where it is so it was easy to find. It is approx. 1 km from the railway station. The landlady stayed awake till late to welcome us because we had missed our scheduled...

We enjoyed our three night stay in Lauterbrunnen. The Chalet Rosa was centraly located. The manager, Carol provided us with lots of information about getting around using trains, gondola's and cog railways to visit the surrounding area. Breakfast was fabulous and beds were very confortable. They also provided parking for our car, but remember to reserve a space before you...

Spending our days hiking the extraordinarily beautiful area, we just needed a place to crash at night. Chalet Rosa achieved that. highpoint, the convenient location, the filling breakfasts, the very friendly Caro, with her lovely English accent, who runs the place and sees to your every need, a comfortable bed, and wife that works well. Negatives. no TV in the...

We, my wife and I and another couple stayed here two nights in Sept. Wished we could stay longer here in Lauterbrunnen. We arrived by train as part of our 3 week train trip of Switzerland, no driving for me. This hotel is a short walk from the station, about 3-4 blocks, on edge of town. Like most hotels in...

This was a clean place and breakfast was great! A couple of things that we weren't pleased with- one was the location. Although it is a beautiful little town it gets very noise at night! The chalet is right by the only road that cars drive by and it's also the road where you find bars that stay open late,...

Very nice place to stay. Lauterbrunnen itself was a great choice - we considered staying in some other nearby cities, but are so glad we chose Lauterbrunnen - definitely a good hub for venturing out to all the nearby places during the day, but enough to do at night here. Chalet Rosa was great, especially for such a good value....

We stayed at Chalet Rosa for one week from 28/03/2014, the second to last week of the ski season. Ski Miguel is excellent value for money and provides a unique package which allows guests to get the most of their ski holiday at a competitive price. Lauterbrunnen is situated within a valley and allows access to two separate ski areas,...

I agree entirely with sbowales (last review). I was the organiser for our group of 17 and chalet rosa/ski miquel offered us exceptional value in every way. Firstly, the operational system before hand was excellent. At the chalet the staff: lilly and freya were lovely. The chef was extremely good, sorry her name escapes me (understandably we didn't see so...

We have had a wonderful week skiing with ski Miguel in chalet rosa. I cannot disagree more with the previous post. The guides Paul and Alex were exceptional and enabled us to get the most out of skiingng this beautiful area. We would not have been able to negotiate the mountains in the weather conditions we had without them. We...
