We recently visited Jalsrushti in the last week of Feb 2021 and it was indeed the best decision we took. It takes about 4 hours from Mumbai . The roads leading to the resort ( specially the Paud Pirangut roads) are still a little bumpy but much better then Hinjewadi n Amby Valley route.
On reaching the Location, you have to cross the river on a small Raft to reach the main Reception area. But the moment you enter the Property one gets such a relaxing and positive Vibe .You can just hear the Birds around....just so peaceful.
We had booked a Jalpushp Room which is much bigger in Size that the Jalaka Cottage. Bathroom and Bedsheets were all Clean , 3-4 adults can easily sleep in Jalpushp with extra mattress.
Their Lunch is a Set Thali (Unlimited) and both the Veg n Non Veg Options were really very gud....(considering we were alot skeptical about the food). But Ganpat and his team were really on their tip toes for their Hospitality. Kudos to them for such a Fantastic reception.
Hi Tea, was on a separate part of the Farm land and one could opt for a Tractor Ride , Horse ride ,Cycle or Just walk. Tea was gud but the snacks were a little repetitive for 2 days that we stayed.
Dinner was Live Menu and a Buffet system, with Gazal Night.
Breakfast has a limited spread but its good and tasty.(Misal was great) Dosa and Uttapa's can also be ordered.
Its very very peaceful yet very positive to stay in this kind of place. Worth the Price they charge.
P.S.: It a smaller property than Malhar Machi so less crowd around.

I visited Jalsrushti with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It's a beautiful place with good service and good food. The cottages are nice however a little maintenance would help. We stayed in Jalpushp which are situated on river front, has a swing in the varandah facing the river side and just perfect for relaxing. I had a book with me and could sit and read for hours. The gardens are nice and make for a lovely stroll with the music playing at the right volume, all along. The staff is polite and helpful, food has good variety and very delicious. Savored everything right from the Maharashtrian lunch to evening snacks to dinner. Desserts served at dinner are worth a special mention.
The activity room however need serious makeover and more activities especially for kids would certainly add to the value. Conducting Yoga sessions would perfectly compliment to the place.

The Jalasrushti Island Resort at Jamgaon, Mulshi is an absolute beauty. We visited the resort on 2nd and 3rd April 2021. The resort has ample of parking space. The staff is very quick and enthusiastic to bring in your luggage. There are lot of trees planted near the entrance alongwith there names. The Jalasrushti Island Resort has a raft that floats on the river and takes you near the reception. A delicious welcome drink is provided at the Reception. Sanitizer is kept almost at every places which helps us to sanitize our hands. Resort is covered by water on all sides which gives a wonderful cooling effect. We had chosen a beautiful river facing cottage known as Jalapushp. The cottage is fully madeup of wood. It has a king size wooden bed draped in white lace cloth. The Jalapushp has massive glass panes which allows us to see the river, mountain and nature. One interesting thing is that the Jalapushp has a small glass fixed on the floor which allows us to see what is there below the cottage and it's a very hard glass so one can easily stand on it. The Jalapushp has a Swing inside the cottage which is very lovely. There is a beautiful pond in the middle which is surrounded by small cottages know as Jalaka. The food quality is very delicious. The restaurant team is very helpful and caring. Jalasrushti also offers a tractor ride which takes us to the High-Tea area where we can have Tea, cofee and also some snacks in the evening. The maintenance team is has maintained the property very well. Apart from that they offer Horse riding and Cycling as well. Jalasrushti provides swimming pool also. There are ample photo and video opportunities throughout the property. The Jalasrushti has also arranged the Sitar Vadan at the time of High-Tea and Flute playing in the morning by Mr. Umesh Soni, Ghazal program by Mr. Rizwan and Mr. Shahrukh at the night during dinner and tabla playing in the morning during breakfast which was very fantastic. Mr. Rizwan has an excellent collection of perfumes and ettars which are imported from Kuwait. Complementary munchies are also provided by the resort at the time of checkout. I would like to appreciate General Manager Mr. Aditya Paranjpe for his great management skills. I would specially like to thanks Mr. Ahzaz Mukadam for his guidance and helping towards the Booking Procedure. And last but not the least I would like to appreciate the owner of Jalasrushti Island Resort Mr. Ramdas Murkute Ji for this beautiful and lovely Island Resort.

The property is covered by river on both sides. It is a perfect place for relaxation. It is so peaceful and serene. The food is very fresh and healthy as they have their own farms. The service of the staff is very prompt and courteous. They take very good care of the property and the guests. Inspite of the property covered by forest there is no single trace of mosquitoes in the evening.

Unlike all, we as a couple took a day trip to the property on a lazy Sunday. There are day trips available upon calling the reception. Package included using the property amenities and included Lunch (Veg / Or Non-veg) Unlimited thaali and High Tea.
I loved the sitting area, the greenery, the cleanliness and the strategic placement of the hammocks and swings on the property. In fact, we both had an amazing power nap on the hammocks in the cool shade and the clean air.
For city dwellers, you can experience a tractor ride and a horse ride. There are few bicycles on the property(though not maintained).
You can shoot pool(not maintained), take a dip in the swimming pool, play carrom(2 tables) or play TT.
We hiked until the end of the property and were greeted by a very shallow clean flowing river. Pro tip: Take a little something for the fishes, they will keep you amused.
As the darkness takes over the property is lit up just perfectly and feels very beautiful.
We had a lovely time at the property from 12.30 pm to around 11.00 pm.
If you can spend time with each other and love nature and are looking for day trip, Jalshrusti is definetely an amazing option.

I recently visited here to celebrate my anniversary and it was the worst decision I made. I stayed at Jalpushp cottage, the overall feel of the room was good but the washroom was very dirty. Didn't even feel like taking bath in such bathrooms. The food was horrible, very limited options, Maharashtrian thali was served for lunch which I did not enjoy as there was water in bhindi, no salt in half the vegs. The hi-tea was the worst experience. They had sev puri as an option which was literally made from Puri, ketchup and onions. Dinner menu was better but the breakfast was horrible, They charge so much money and don't even offer juices, their idli was chewy, coconut chutney had gone sour, sambhar was thinner than rasam, dosa was burnt and tea was cold. They have to improve a lot on food if they plan to keep charging such high tariffs. Seriously, the place is not even worth it.

End of March this year, my wife and I had our wedding at Jalsrushti Island resort. First and foremost: We had a fantastic wedding, and Jalsrushti is likely the most beautiful and well kept resort I have had the pleasure of visiting. I would strongly and without reservation recommend anyone to book a stay here, and would consider it one of the best, if not the best, venue for intimate (ca. 150 people) outdoor weddings in the greater Pune-Mumbai area.
Location: The resort itself is an immaculate, verdant paradise tucked away on a small island in the Mula river. The grounds are well taken care of, providing a calming garden atmosphere without diminishing the surrounding nature: the amount and variety of birds will surprise you! During a small boatride around the island with the staff, we saw no less than three different species of kingfisher! The resort and the small associated farm area are full of fruit trees, which the resort management took time to explain in detail to our European guests.
The facilities: The rooms are modern, clean, and well designed, finished in dark wood, they evoke a luxurious tropical vintage feel without ever neglecting quality or modern conveniences.
The staff: We were very happy with the entirety of the staff at Jalsrushti, who contributed significantly to how smooth our wedding went - not only in the general service, which was excellent, but also in the coordination and interaction with our guests. We specifically want to highlight Mr. Aditya Paranjape, the General manager and Head-chef of the resort, who personally facilitated all our events and made sure that every guest was taken care of.
The food: Despite having strong competition with the excellent location and service, the highlight of the resort is clearly the food. Over the course of 3 days, we were served a multitude of lovely dishes, particularly a wide variety of vegetarian dishes. Most of our European guests, who had spent two weeks in India prior to the wedding, said that the food at Jalsrushti resort had been the best Indian food they had eaten so far. We attribute this in part to the excellent kitchen and staff, but also the flexibility with which they accommodated both vague and specific requests by our guests.
We are beyond happy to have chosen this resort, and are looking forward to visit again!

I visited this resort this week along with my family.
It is built very well, reaching to the resort by crossing the river in a different kind of boat was fun, the rooms are spacious, staff is always courteous, food is just awesome. Menu options are unlimited. We all enjoyed every second of our stay there.
Swimming pool, cleanliness, small sculptures of reptiles everywhere on the pathway, tractor ride to the High Tea area, high tea food options..... Overall Food options! And the courteous staff!

Jalsrushti Resort is one of the best resorts I have visited so far. Built on a River with mesmerizing views, it has around 20 cottages. We had stayed in a cottage Jalpushpa that is a river facing one. The cottage was very clean and tidy. They have a horse ride, a tracker ride to their farm that has veggies, flowers at no extra cost. A beautiful live music arrangement on our anniversary dinner was the cherry on the cake! The food was delicious. The staff over there is very courteous, helpful and serve us with the best of their services. The surrounding is maintained very well and one can have a walk with beautiful flowers, chirping of birds accompanied. Starting from the entrance, every corner of the resort is a bliss to your eyes! It takes you to on a peaceful experience that is cherished forever!
Looking forward to spending few more nights there to taste more dishesh they offer us with the best of the hospitality!

An unusual experience with nature . Visited Malhar machi also but their response was pathetic. Your pool needs to be better managed. Maybe a net above will stop the flowers from constantly falling in the pool. Otherwise it was a good experience. Staff is superb, very courteous. And ever smiling.
