I went here for a 5 day solo trip. It was amazing. The villa itself is on 2 acres of veedant space, and the variety of trees and flowers is mindblowing. One could spend a week just looking at the plants, chilling by the swings and the hammocks placed strategically across the grounda.
The beach is a 4 minute walk away, and you can catch some spectacular mornings and moon beach scenes. The resort itself has a pool you can relax in (not a splash pond, a proper pool you can dive into!).
The food is really good, with a huge spread for breakfast including fruits, bread, eggs and Indian food.
The rooms are very nice and comfortable, with beautiful views of the gardens. Even the common areas are very tastefully done, with nice furniture.
You may want to ask the resort to arrange for a bike or car, as the main pondicherry town is a short drive away.
One of the best assets of the place is a proper library, very comfortable, with a great selection ot books in English and French.

We had booked a classic king room to celebrate our wedding anniversary along with our 7 year old child and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The resort is walkable from paradise beach, and there's a nice cafe called grami cafe nearby . The resort is extremely clean , full of mango trees and we spotted a lot of rare birds inside the resort. Staffs are very well behaved, polite and willing to accommodate requests if any . The operational head Mr.Karmugilan and the hospitality staff Mr.Gautham and Mr.Prakash were very friendly and even gave us a bag of full of their farm fresh mangoes . Swimming pool is maintained very well and open from 7am to 7pm. There are a lot of garden areas where we can play our own games and indoor games are also available in the property .Rooms are excellent with 2 ton Ac and had all the amenities needed . There was nothing more we could ask for . Would definitely recommend Mango hill resort for a calm and peaceful stay.

Lots has been said regarding the area itself. It is a good beach with lots of activities to do in Sandunes. Though all the activities that were promised were not there which is something related to Sandunes and not of the resort itself.
This review is regarding the Mango Hill La Serene resort. It is a good place to stay for families. The rooms are quite spacious and the beds are quite comfy. The accessories were vintage and chosen well. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The only issue we faced was the hot water tap needed to be opened for a long time before hot water could actually flow. We had to waste at least 3 buckets of water before actual hot water would flow.
The swimming pool is good and the water in it was clean, much better than other resorts that I have visited. The water was soft and not heavily chlorinated.
The food was good and tasty. The breakfast spread was also good. But the time taken to finish the order was a little on the higher side. Have already given feedback that they should start to provide food faster when ordered. Cost of the food seems to be on the higher side but it was good. The whole family enjoyed the food with no complaints which in itself is a great achievement.
The resort has basic facilities and a little more investment is done to create a few more amenities like cycles and may be some indoor games, it would make the stay nicer.
Overall a good place to stay and would recommend it to all people who want to have some time to unwind in Pondy.

The property is good. But I had a lousy experience. I stayed for one day only. For one, there were two power cuts of long duration. Then the AC of my room tripped every half hour. I had to personally switch on the MCB. When I spoke to the staff they said all ACs in need of replacement. Owner is absent. Typical long distance ownership problem. Plus you have to order food on Swiggy for your meals. The property is overpriced for the value it offers

Have stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s amazing place newly refurbished, very clean hotel, top place to chill and relax. Rooms are big and spacious, food is amazing, very tasty, staff are so welcoming and friendly and attentive, really looked after us. Waiter Vetri was so kind, polite and attentive. Pool was so clean and it had sun beds. Really enjoyed swimming and relaxing in the sun. Property is located walking distance to private Paradise Beach Sandunes, entry is only 70INR but it’s worth it. Spent afternoons relaxing on the beach which was really clean and met a lot of wonderful local people. Really enjoyed our stay here. Could stay longer. We stayed in a few hotels over the last 3 weeks in India and this hotel has been our favourite. This is a paradise place in India to chill and relax. Highly recommended, I would come back here again.

Excellent stay with family worth staying in this resort near paradise beach for a pleasant and clam and beautiful stay we had choose a family room with 4 occupancy which was a great stay for a leisure and enjoyed each and every moment in this resort and the ambience which they maintain is speechless. Good service along with good staff. This is the 2nd time we are staying here.. overall a positive experience.. the food that we ordered were all good and the service was pleasant..Rooms were clean and hygienic. The transport service to the main road or to either a bus stand or railway station can improve and the cost for this service needs to be reduced
