We spent three nights at the Avalon and we were very impressed by the internal features, view from our room, varied breakfast, in fact more or less everything. There were only minor niggles - poor soundproofing on the interconnecting door to the room next door and a badly positioned mirror. Trivia really, and we would definitely stay again. The hotel...

Stayed for three nights on a half board basis which was great value for money, the breakfast and evening meal was lovely, with plenty of choice for breakfast inc bubbly on a Saturday and Sunday morning. The evening meal was great quality and presentation. We also enjoyed the 30% discount in the hotel bar for drinks and snacks between 3pm-5pm....

Very nice hotel and rooms, breakfast is very good too. Only down, we were in a room inside the hotel and it got very warm during night even it was still cold outside. We haven't had the chance to open any windows since they were facing the inside of the hotel. Other than that it was a nice and comfy...

We loved this hotel. Prior to our visit communication (via Booking.com) was very efficient and welcoming. Reception booked a cab (Baltic Taxis) to collect us from the airport and we were in our hotel room less than 30 minutes after we landed. First impressions were great.... from the impressive lobby and quick check in to our spotless room. Our stay...

This hotel is on the edge of the old town so a great location, it was easy and cheap to get to and from the airport using the number 22 bus which stops outside the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty choices for breakfast. Managed to get a very good price for a superior room by booking...

This hotel is the best we have stayed in, in Europe! The food was amazing, don't understand why there wasn't a lineup out the door, we had dinner every night here, it was fantastic! The breakfast buffet, included in the room rate was plentiful and tons of variety! The best value, quality of service and food we have experienced on...

Stayed with another couple in February for three nights. The hotel was top class. Our room was spotless. There was a fully stocked mini-bar, a hair drier and iron which all worked. The whole hotel was spotless also, with numerous staff attending to all areas throughout the day. We arrived too early to check in but the lady on reception...

Good location just on the border of the old town, with walking distance to most things. Also a plus that buses to the airport leave 100 metres from the hotel. The room was well worth the money and we had a nice surprise in that the breakfast was much better than we had expected, with a big buffet with lots...
