We arrived at around 11pm on Friday night, check in was very quick and the girl working on reception 'Alice' was lovey and very helpful. We were staying on the fifth floor and were amazed by how peaceful and quite our room was for the length of our stay. Our room was big with views of the Riga Market right...

Best hotel I stayed in. Room was spacious, with air conditioner, kettle and a tea/coffee in a room, minibar with lots of drinks, good but UNSECURED WI-FI, nice view, great soundproof, comfortable bed, good bathroom with a shower (although a bathtub would be better), great breakfast with a various choice of meal and perfect 2 course dinner from a special...

Got a free room upgrade with great views on the Zeplin Hangers. This hotel is on a busy main road but there is little noise. Restaurant serves good international food but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Staying here was great. I can´t remember since I had such a quite room in a hotel room. It felt so private. My favorite was probably the bathroom as it had tons of space for lot´s of toilet things and my make-up. I also loved the bed! The sheets are amazing. In addition the restaurant to the hotel is great....

Hotel is exactly what it claims to be ie. a 4* Conference Hotel. Spacious lobby area with restaurant and bar overlooked by the glass lifts. Rooms are large and well decorated. the windows are soundproof, yet openable should you wish to let the crisp, Baltic air in (which we did). We enjoyed the breakfast each day. The location is ideal....

Very comfortable and perfectly located for sightseeing. Excellent bar and staff very helpful. Bathroom we had was shower only. We prepaid for a cab from and to airport and this was excellent value. Riga was a superb city to walk around, but is very small so possible to walk around main areas in a couple of hours. We would recommend...

Stayed here for three nights last week. There were three of us in the room. First of all i would say that the hotel is well located and is excellently presented. Found the staff to be helpful, the hotel clean and the room to be very well equipped. the issue that I had is around the standard of sleep. While...

I recently stayed at Hotel Avalon for 3 nights in a standard room on the 7th floor. I will start with the good points, of which there were many: - The hotel contacted me prior to my stay and offered to arrange transfers to and from the airport. I took them up on this and the price for 2 people...

Very good and modern hotel in Old City Riga; the location was brilliant! We hoped for the room without the stairs and with a good view - got them both. Our hotelroom on the 8th floor was clean and spacious, view to the Central Market was great. Although we hated the sleeping pillows, which were too big and hefty. Breakfast...
