This hostel is in the perfect place to explore Tallinn Old Town. The staff are really helpful and friendly, will give you loads of advice and take you out for a beer. It's a little dated (but renovations were being done whilst we were there) and a little dusty, but if you just need a place to sleep, it's fine.... More

Ok, the title is a bit dodgy, but trust me, this is the hostel to go. Lovely staff (the original flying kiwi) marvellous building IN the historical center. When you leave the building, you only have to walk 10 paces to be on the main square of Tallinn. The 8 persons dorm room is just lovely. Personal lockers if you... More

Wonderful. I loved the electric heater in the room, made it very toasty. Well located hostel, easy walk to tram and inside Old Town. Clean, comfy, quiet. Very nice staff gave directions, recommendations, and even helped with bags on stairs. Can walk to ferry port. Great place!

Ideally located a short walk from old town square. Hostel is located on the 3rd floor, so I assume the owner of the building is someone else. The stairwell leading up to the hostel is very musty and dingy and could use a good cleaning (dead bugs & stuff in window sills and corners) and some fresh paint. The room... More

This was a really great hostel and the owner Jen and her staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hostel itself is clean and comfortable. The bedrrom was very pleasant aswell. The location was absolutely fantastic as it is right in the heart of the old town.

Good place to go and party with the kids there, But if its a good nights sleep you are after..Forget about it!! Staff come back drunk at 5 to 6 am most days.A bit out of control really.Nice town though. Other guests staying near the kitchen had to quieten the party down at midnight to get sleep, the next morning... More

I stayed in a Flying Kiwi just for a one night since late evening till early morning, but anyway I liked it for this time. The first thing I liked is its location: almost in the middle of Tallinn Old Town and you can reach almost all sights, shops and bars by no more than 5-7 minutes by foot. From... More

Excellent location (in the very heart of old Tallin), the staff is very helpful, i reccomend it. But a few things could be improved: cleaness (the building is very old and toilets don't have a good smell...), and the absolute lack of a place for clothes (a hall stand, a hook, a wardrobe...). If you want to sleep, avoid the... More
