If you are a traveller who needs all the amenities and comforts when staying at a hotel, do not go to Domus Maria. If, on the other hand, you enjoy the atmosphere, the location, the building itself and do not need all the comforts, go and you will not regret it. Domus Maria is a restored monastery. The room I...

Spent a couple of nights here. Great location, close to all of the sites and restaurants of the Old Town. Our room was very clean with a comfy bed, wifi, but would have benefitted from having a kettle! The staff were very helpful and even checked us in, 'on line', for the flight home. The breakfast was fair, compared to...

Hotel Domus Maria is conveniently located in old town and you can both walk to the sights as well as take the train or a bus. We were upgraded without any charge from a standard double room to a deluxe double room which was really spacious. Although we didn’t use it there was parking space available. Breakfast had the basics....

Here's the quick hit, 10 being best: cleanliness & comfort=6, location=9, staff friendliness=7.5, local knowledge=7.5, overall value=7. Room was small with twin beds (mine was pretty lumpy), a dormer window and a low, slanting ceiling (ouch). The property is a converted monastery, we were on the 4th floor. The elevator made life good. Breakfast was a help yourself. Location is...

If you've always wanted to spend time in a convent but never had the courage, or if you are a bloke, then here's a great opportunity. Lovely retorted buildings, ideally located for the old town and major sites. Staff first class and English v good. Go for a larger room - think the extra is well worthwhile.

This hotel was booked for us by a good friend who has stayed there many times. It is an old monastery, built in the early 1600s and it still retains much of that quality. The rooms are comfortable and clean but relatively Spartan. There is free Wi-Fi and free parking (important in the middle of old-town). The location is perfect,...

Only stayed a night here. A friend booked in and I didn't really have a choice. Initially I wasn't impressed after they quoted a rate, lifted the rate when I tried to book within 12 hours, then told me they had no doubles. When I got one through Kayak, they charged me the single rate and stuck me in a...

As I understood this hotel is ex-monastery, old building with wide corridors, etc - unusual and interesting. Hotel has car-parking for guest, free wi-fi in the room. Very good location - in the old town not far from city hall and other interesting places. The room was clean, spacious. Maybe the shower room was bit worn out, but ok. Breakfast...

We stayed here for one night. The receptionist was very welcoming and our room was really good value. The place was spotless, really clean. The place was lovely and warm and the shower was great. We had a room to the side and it was really quiet but I imagine all rooms are quiet. Breakfast was good and we were...

I think the location of this hotel is as good as it can get in the center of the old-town of Vilnius. The hotel it self is nothing special but it is a descent 3star. Now for the value proposition I assume it is ok given the location and the size of the hotel.
