The Fordan Hotel is situated in the heart of Pecs on the borderline of the historical city. Now, 31 sophisticated standard, deluxe and apartment type rooms, as well as child-friendly rooms are found in the building. A small sauna world and a conference room also serves to further comfort the needs of our guests. We offer a pool center, a restaurant and a bar for our visitors for entertainment. You can leave your car in a closed, CCTV monitored parking lot in Fordan Hotel. Our standard, deluxe and apartment type rooms have a clean design with like colors. We have constructed rooms for disabled guests and our building is accessible for them as well. Our management and colleagues are devoted to sustainability. Read on to see how it works at our hotel.

This is my second extended stay st the Fordan. It's a nice hotel and in a prime location but what really sets it apart is the service. The staff here are all very friendly and go out if their way to make the stay enjoyable. I love the breakfasts and the kitchen and wait staff make me feel like family rather than a stranger.
I'll be back here for sure the next time I'm in Pecs.

This is my third stay at the Fordan hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located near the city centre, shopping and transportation. The hotel is clean, quiet and a great place to relax after a long day of work.
Most importantly though is the service provided by the staff. Everyone there is very nice and each person seems to go out of their way to make me feel special.

Spent three weeks at the Fordan on business. The hotel is in a great location, two blocks from the main square. Nice big clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. I only ate a few dinners there, which were good. Ate breakfast there for 25 days. The quality and variety was good. Overall a pleasant stay and I will stay again.

Fordan Hotel is well situated. Only 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The rooms are big in size, comfortable and clean.
Unfortunately all is spoiled by the poor customer service. Hardly no one spoke English, which by the way is the same throughout Pecs. The staff are poorly trained and would not go out of their way to help the guest. They seem to have a poor understanding of hospitality services. The reception closed every night even though the hotel was full.
Avoid the hotel's restuarant if going in large groups. Large I mean more than 5.
Pecs in itself has a very clean city centre and shopping centre but once again restuarants and shops lacked customer services. Clearly Pecs is not a touristic destination.
In summary a destination I would avoid going again.

Well located: just a 5 minute walk away from the old town, near a large supermarket, and only 5-10 minute walk from the train station.
The hotel building looked rather plain on the outside, there was no air conditioning in the tiny lobby, and no porter when we arrived. But when we called the phone number they had left, a staff member arrived immediately. The staff was friendly, and we could get by in English.
The room was nice, well equipped and very clean. Breakfast was served in a small dining room, but the food was nice and fresh, offering something for everybody.
The hotel was situated in a paid parking area, but they enabled us to use their own parking ground. The hotel was equipped with wifi-connection, but for some reason, only one connection per room was provided.

I visited the billiards at Fordan Center Hotel...The place is a very good spot to play billiards: tables are clean and new, the cues are in good conditions, and the bar has a good offer.
Service was friendly, timely and efficient...We had a nice time playing pool in this place.

Excellent location close to the main bus station for intercity buses, and also about 10 minutes walk to the train station. The Arkad shopping mall and a market are closeby. Within walking distance of all major sights, including the lovely Szechenyi Ter. Very spacious room, comfortable bed, clean. Super fast wifi. Courteous and helpful staff. Overall, excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Would definitely consider staying there again next time in Pecs.
