Good, clean place, for a reasonable price. The staff is really kind and helpful, reception is 24/7, kitchen is good enough. Only problem is the parking place, in the backyard there is place for 4-5 car and the route to there is really thight. There is a possibility to parking in a garage in the near - but this is not so comfortable. But a big advantage, that there is pub in the yard...

Easily reachable since it's located by the main road (58) which is coming from the south side of the city.I must emphasize friendly staff, nice breakfast, good wi-fi coverage, cleanliness and above all its' location.Maybe rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but they are very comfortable and clean.It is only 2 minutes walking to a nearby biggest shopping mall ARKAD in Pecs and 3 minutes to main street which leads to branches of numerous streets with historical attractions, cafe's and restaurants. I suggest making a reservation for car parking place since it has only a few. It is well balanced value for money payed and would sure stay there again, whether it is one or few nights.It is suitable for solo travelers, families, couples, which is hard to find these days.

The hotel is in the city center very near the main attractions and the Árkád shopping mall. The old building is newly renovated with modern, spacious rooms. Free WiFi is available. The breakfast is excellent. The number of parking places in the backyard is limited so it could happen that you should use the nearby underground garage for 1000 Ft (about 3.5e) for a night.

This hotel is next to a busy road, where the noise is always loud. But this is the smallest problem with it. I found bugs in my bed! Everything looks ok, but when you look closer everything is outdated, worn furnitures, and the breakfast to: it looks ok, but the coffee machine is only Nescafé

Very nice and clean hotel in the historical city center. Mattrasses are very comfortable, tea and coffee are available in the room. Breakfast is just great. Staff is kind and helpful. Parking lots are available in the private backyards. We will be back.

If I come to Pécs again defenately book at the Sopianae hotel!
The location is excellent, very close to the Árkád Shoping center, and the city center. Parking within the hotel is safe and comfortable. The receptionist is very pleasant and ready to help with any questions, also very good breakfast.
The room was clean and comfortable.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The breakfast is fantastic, with a great variety of options. The staff is warm, friendly, and really makes me feel at home. This is my second time staying here, and I am very satisfied with the experience. Highly recommended!

Yes we live in the period of Corona virus unfortunately...
The personal of this hotel didn’t accept me only because I am Italian even if I live in Hungary 10 years... so I suppose that in this period they don’t accept: German, french, Spanish, Romanian, Swedish, Norwegians, Korean, Chinese and all the people from the world except Hungarians because all foreigners could have Corona virus.
So I suggest to foreigner to not go there in order to not loose their time because you could have Corona virus.
They even asked me, like police, the last time I have been at home in Italy... not your business... Unprofessional and racists... never more...
And I was there many times bringing even other customers...

The hotel is in the city center,very near the main attractions and the Árkád shopping mall. Nice and spacious rooms. Free WiFi is available. The breakfast is excellent. I recommend domestic cheese, "korozot" or something like that. Private free parking. Staff was very frendly and full of advices.
