The location of the Hotel is wonderful. Right behind the National Museum. It is possible to explore the whole city by feet. The service was brilliant. The room was very nice, the cleanness was brilliant, too. A nice stay in a small but awesume hotel. The hotel is managed by a young team and you discover it. Internet possibilities, whirlpool...

The room was in a separate building, after some minutes walking from the main hotel building. To arrive to the office of the hotel, we gone through an old staircase under an obscure light, in a noir film atmosphere. As it was our first Budapest experience, we feel somewhat scared. After filling up the registration, we walked to the room,...

This hotel is located on the second floor of a large building - more like a pensione. The room was large, breakfast good. Everything was functional but a bit spartan.

Used TripAdvisor to find a clean, safe, well-located, moderately priced hotel and have been thrilled with the result! If you can get beyond the dilapidated entryway and courtyard, you will find a gem. 100% modern (heated towel rack AND A/C, wireless, flatscreen) in a convenient part of town (easy to get to from the airport and to walk to all...

If you are looking for a reasonably priced, clean hotel in a good location in Budapest and do not plan to spend long in the room, this is a good choice. It is located a few steps from Kalvin Ter Metro and in easy walking distance of the Danube and centre. We used public transport to get to the hotel...

We would highly recommend this hotel. The location was spot on - we were in walking distance of lots of bars resteraunts and shops, with good access to transport links. The staff were very accomodating and would work hard at meeeting any request we made. We went in January and the under floor heating was a bonus for us after...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
