Good service, clean room. I think they should invest in some more english lessons for the staff. Dont bother to order breakfast. Go 5 min to the nearest bakery ! The tram stops right outside, order a room not facing the tram.

I sent them email asking a few questions prior departure, never got any replies. So I phoned from UK, and was met with a wall of unhelpfulness, that was a warning sign, which I should have attention to... but one lives in hope... Breakfast was below standard. No croissants whatever, let alone flakey ones. Choice of cold meats and cheese...

We stayed here for three nights during our trip to Budapest. The rooms are old and small with small, hard beds, but everything was well maintained and clean. The staff was very accommodating and helpful (and most of them spoke very good English). The hotel has decent free wifi and breakfast was simple but satisfying (mainly bread, cheese, and coffee)....

We book it 24 hour before. All good hotels was occupied already. Here was 55 Euro price and a parking near the building. You can reach city center by bus (about 8 stops). Silent place... while no tram. Noisy place - here is a tram in 15 meters from hotel. Thin inner walls. You can not chose a view -...

We stayed at Walzer hotel for one night on our way back from Austria, and thank god it was ony one night! On the outside it doesn't look that bad - the hotel is actually an old villa, surrounded by a small yard in a quiet neighborhood. But as soon as we step foot in the room it became a...

This hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. There is a train stop right outside the door. The internet was sporadic but the hotel was clean and comfortable. Included breakfast was minimal, but had good pastries!

Second stay, first in 2010 - still a good place to stay - chose it last time due to proximity to family, returned due to comfort here as well as proximity. Temporarily disappointed that they were out of draft beer at the counter, even more disappointed that they only had Budweiser and then realized after my first sip that 1....

The room was clean. Being at the front of the hotel it suffered from tramway noise for much of the night. The rooms are not air-conditioned and the reception could not loan or hire us a fan, despite the temperature being 30+C! The rooms contained no guest information and we misunderstood dinner time and had to search for a local...

“Front rooms tend to have more tram noise. If Wifi is important you might want to ask for first floor, hopefully it will work there. Otherwise you'll be in the quite comfortable lobby. Coffee, tea and beer available at the front desk.”
