Clean, close to everything, cozy... Everything was okey but the staff is not there and doesn't answer the phone. Really hard to check out because there is no one in there at the time. Little bit noisy because of the street life.

The hostel is very nice, clean, quiet, comfortable, with interesting design. All guests are very polite. Metro station Ferenciek Tere is at a walking distance, supermarket Spar is in the same building. Some bars on the 1st floor, so you can have some coffee or lunch right there. There is no 24hour reception, but this is not a problem, if...

Very good place, clean and cozy. Location is great, just a few minutes to Parliament, and the staff was very helpful. Nice staying and excellent service. We will come to you next time for sure. Thanks

Good location next to the city center, metro station and a supermarket. Good kitchen. Comfort and service level is average. It was not easy to check in: the owner did not answer on the phone, the front door was closed, no signs or information which would lead to the hostel. There was a TV set in the room which did...

Great location, walking distance to the city centre and attractions. Basic small hostel. The biggest problem with this place is that there is barely a staff member on site, huge problem when you are unfamiliar with a city and looking to be pointed in the right direction and an even bigger problem if you store luggage there and then need...

Location is great. Rooms are clean. Very close to Kossuth subway station and Parliament building. Staff is helpful and friendly. Not luxurious but good for its price. In summary everything is positive about this hostel.

The Origo Hostel is well-located, clean and not expensive. In other words, the perfect recipe for a good hostel. Staff is very kind (they also offer to do laundry for you). It is possible to buy coffee, croissants, drinks or snacks from the fridge for reasonable prices; tea is free. Usually I am particularly picky about cleanliness but this time...

Well, it is a hostel, so don't expect luxury. But for that price, fully recommended, especially if you are a small group and can book a 4-bed room to have it for yourself. The hostel is clean, the beds are acceptable, there's free Wifi and a computer available, a kitchen area and small food and drink items available for sale,...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
