Check-in was very smooth even though there were quite a number of guests arriving at the same time. The hotel had several employees at the front desk to handle everyone quickly. The interior of the hotel is very impressive with a huge atrium in the middle. We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious for the three of us....

Very nice hotel. Great lobby. Super super breakfast in an amazing 'Sissi' princess surrounding, including daily life piano. Nice rooms. Nice spa. New York cafe in hotel. Friendly staff. Good location. All can be done by foot. Only minus: At night, might be a bit noisy at the street side, due ti ambulance sirenes at night (hospital nearby).

The Boscolo Budapest is a wonderfully luxurious hotel in the Erzsébetváros district. From the airport you can reach the hotel by taxi, which is only a 30 min drive and costs around 9000HUF. There are also plenty of shuttle busses you can book straight at the arrivals gate. We booked a standard room with breakfast through a cheap hotel booking...

I've stayed at the boscolo four times in the last two years including being lucky enough to have my wedding in the luxury of the stunning New York Cafe. Every stay has been the same, excellent. All of the staff are attentive and genuinely eager to please. The concierge services are especially useful for ideas/reservations/general info. The rooms are wonderfully...

The Boscolo is the type of place where I was just as happy not to leave the hotel at all during the day, lingering over breakfast, reading, people-watching in the lobby or NY Cafe, a trip to the wellness centre and massage. Stayed for 6 nights and have no complaints. It's a beautiful building and all the staff were very...

Most reviewers will remark upon the stunning atrium and ceiling you see on entering the Boscolo Hotel. And it's true that this is an amazing sight that looks even better when you take an early morning trip up to the fifth floor to view the clear blue sky through the roof. But this hotel is so much more than its...

The only bad thing that I can say about this hotel was that I only stayed there for one night! As I was on business, I only had scheduled one day of meetings. I won't make that mistake agian. It was a memorable experience andone that I would invite any traveller to Budapest to ignore at their own expense. The...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a junior suite on the 4th floor overlooking the front of the hotel. The Architecture of the building inside and out is stunning. The rooms are beautifully presented And The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. The concierge is worth a special mention...

To stay at the Boscastle is a real treat. I cannot fault anything. Fantastic staff and beautiful building. The decor of the New York cafe which forms part of the hotel is just amazing. And the staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. Perfect choice in Pest.

Stayed for three nights Friday 6th, Sat 7th and Sun 8th Feb. The Boscolo is an excellent hotel and well situated to explore Budapest, especially if you don't mind walking a little. Staff are efficient polite and helpful, rooms comfortable and spacious and facilities top notch. The Boscolo's ace-in-the-hand feature is of course The New York Cafe. It takes some...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
