We have just returned from a 3 night weekend winterbreak to Budapest. The hotel was brilliant, everything from the rooms, breakfast and staff were just great. The hotel is in a good location about 15 minutes walk to most bars and restaurants in Pest. The rooms are very well presented and clean and the hotel itself is boutique style. They...

After reading the many fantastic reviews on TripAdvisor about Hotel Parlament I already knew our trip would be great and it was just that! I arranged the trip for my partner's birthday present and at the time of visit we would be celebrating our anniversary. Before our trip I had spoken to the hotel via email for advice of attractions/spas/sightseeing...

Me and my partner couldn't have been happier with this hotel overall for our three night break. To start with, the service was fantastic throughout the stay. From start to finish, with a very charming and helpful guy to greet us (zsandom, I think). The hotel was always kept very clean, tidy and has a quirky stylish look about it....

Nice hotel with interesting decor. The breakfast is great, and the hotel is only about 5 minutes away from the Parlament. Only negative was the door to the bathroom. It was see-through, and couldn't be locked or closed properly. So you ought to know the person you are sharing a room with quite well.. I'm not sure if all the...

Stayed for 3 nights, hotel was perfect. Very clean and well maintained. The front desk team gave great recommendations for local restaurants. The bus stop for the city is just around the corner. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Budapest.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
