Purely by mistake, I ended up booking the cheapest room of this hotel located in the (nearly) rooftop...! I realized it only when I arrived at the hotel, then panicked when I found that I had to share a bathroom with another room. After some explanation and clarification, the owner of the hotel just gave me the key for the...

We spent few days in Budapest in Fabius Panzio Hotel. Hotel has a good position, bus station and metro station is very near. Good breakfast, which is included in price, and small but clean rooms. Free WiFi and free lockable parking are very big advantage, and my family and me can recommend this affordable hotel. Only disadvantage for this hotel...

The location is noisy like other reviewers said, but only when an ambulance passes. Otherwise it's very quiet. The rooms are pretty plain, but they do have free wifi which is nice. The breakfast is tasty, lots of fresh bread and deli meats, cereal etc. It is a traditional European style kind of breakfast, so if you are traveling from...

I was reading that somebody wrote that ,,It is located in a quiet area of the city, mainly because of the surrounding trees and greens". o not believe it. near this hotel are 2 main hospitals: St. Janos and Varosmajor Hospital: the ambulances are coming an going at every 3 minutes, the traffic in the area is jammed. the rooms...

We stayed at Hotel Fabius on September 04-09, 2014. On our October VISA statement it was obvious that we had been overcharged 49.00 Euros. I contacted the hotel immediately. The response has basically been an acknowledgement of the mistake and "we will look into it." I have had to contact them several times with a very slow response at their...

The Hotel-Panzio is in a very convenient location, close to the tram stop and bus stops. It is located in a quiet area of the city, mainly because of the surrounding trees and greens. Rooms are very comfortable and well-managed, my only problem was the providing of body soaps; got only a small one for 5 days, should have gotten...

a good location/base from which to explore the city via a brilliant tram/underground transport system. (at your doorstep). as a 3 star in budapest, the hotel fabius cost per district is dead-on. staff are helpful and 'zoltan' has good english. (ultan will suffice). if you are 'north west-west european', you wont' like the breakfast - so maybe use it as...

We chose this hotel for its location, the included breakfast and free parking. We asked for a quiet nonsmoking room and got # 36. The room did smell of smoke at first but after we left the window open overnight it was better. The only problem we had was that the nearby cogwheel train was awfully noisy at night. There...

The positives of this hotel are the helpful, friendly staff; location in a pleasant, quiet (I didn't notice the sirens from the nearby hospital) residential neighborhood with easy access to the tram; computer with Internet access in the lobby; and modest price. Our rooms (2 small, cramped attic rooms with slanted low ceilings and a shared bath) are not for...

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the rooms at the top of the building. The breakfast was quite good and the staff were helpful and friendly but the the room was very small. We got a 3 for 2 nights deal which made it a reasonable price.
