It's a nice hotel, simple, but very suitable, clean, good room, The breakfast is poor and quickly run out, so go early or you 'll have just coffee and milk; no bread, no fruits left, they don't replace Internet is free but some times works, sometimes doesn't

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and found it was perfect for exploring the city. The reception staff were very helpful and booking in was easy. The overall feel of the rooms is one of light and spaciousness and are full of charming solid furniture and the bathroom is ok too. However, on closer inspection the hotel décor...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was pretty cheap considering it's location. High ceiling rooms, nice little clean bathroom with a bathtub, air-conditioning worked funny but managed to lower the temperature in the room. There was a safe and a mini-bar, as well as the TV with international channels. Breakfast was included in price and very versatile....

Our room was very spacious with a hallway bigger than our small bedroom. A bathroom led off with a bath/ shower over, double basins and toilet. The bedroom also led off the hallway. With a double and two single beds, TV, fridge, dressing table, cabinet and still plenty of room to move about. Unfortunately I can't remember the room number...

I must admit I was expecting far worse when I saw the pictures of the hotel online and checked the street pictures on GoogleMaps. The hotel is located quite close to the city center and there many restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and very spacious. My girlfriend and I stayed there for only one night but I would definitely...

We chose to visit Budapest for a long weekend, arriving on Saturday and leaving on Tuesday. The people, food and general atmosphere are all great. We had a memorable visit. The only disappointing aspect of the visit was the Hotel Unio. The hotel is advertised as three star and their own write up claims to exceed this standard. I do...

The hotel is very dark, very hot and very creepy. Good points - location - it is close to the tram stop and a short walk from the metro station. Bad points - the hotel. Stayed for three nights. If this is a 3 star I dread to think what the lesser star hotels are like. Our unexpected ' alarm'...

Good value for money. Great location could walk nearly everywhere. Superb reception staff who were very helpful and spoke excellent English. Breakfast OK for the for the price. Only downside was the mattress in our room was really worn with the springs coming through, but the room was a good size and clean.

This was my 5th stay in this hotel and I think it says enough. It is really a good value for money. Rooms are big, everything is clean and breakfast is excellent. I like the location of the hotel, tram and metro stations are very near, but Vörösmarty Tér and even Budim are in walkable distance, as well as Keleti...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
