First, the hostel is a very dirty place. There was trash in the door when we arrived, the bathrooms were invaded by bugs, and the showers were flooded. After that horrible first impression, we went out and at our arrival there was an unknown (probably doped, as we could not wake him up) sleeping in one of our friends' bed,...

During our stay there, the security was so bad that the cleaning lady asked if someone had stayed in our room last night that wasn't meant to be there. Clearly people realised the check in system was faulty, you could just come in and have a sleep and then go off the next day. You are not allowed to use...

Beside good location, nothing else is worth mentioning about this hostel. Oh, yes...always flooded bathroom, never cleaned, NO showering after 12pm, disorganized stuff, kitchen can be used only for coffee, beds not comfortable. Stay here only if you must.

I ll say only one thing that should cover it all: dirty sheets and smelly duvets!!!! It is a shame because if it wasn't for that it would be a pretty decent hostel. The location is good although there was noise coming from the street in the nights, drunk people I suppose. Still, the hostel/area did not feel insecure. The...

The hostel has a good location and good options to eat away. It´s in the heart of Budapeste! BUT, the bathroom is not good, really! Trust me! The wifi do not work well too! And TAKE CARE, cause we asked the guy about lockers and he said that "there is". On the time, there is no lockers and we need...

Myself and three mates stayed here two nights in August. The hostel was creepy and had a unsafe feel about the place. We were told that our room was new, but it was dirty and unclean. Toilet and shower were both very dirty and it was clogged with hair. The day we were to check out the owner wasn't around,...

AVOID! We booked this hostel last minute as it seemed decent and was fairly cheap compared to other accommodation Budapest. When we arrived the "reception area" was so messy and I just felt that there was something not right about it. I didn't want to pay upfront until I had seen the room so the proprietor took us to the...

Perfect location, in the heart of Budapest. Lovely host. Ravin helped with everything, where to find the best food places, shops, sight seeing parts of the city. I really enjoyed my stay with my friends. It is the best place for a backpacking student in europe.

Actually I didn't stay there because I can't reserve a bed. And here comes the reason why I can't: I contacted them by e-mail directly 2 months before the day I would like to reserve, and ask why the price shown on hostelb_ _ker is much cheaper than that on other site and their official web page. They replied me...

I booked here, then to turn up to find that they had overbooked, so I was forced to find something else last minute, which was hard on a Saturday! This hostel has about 12 beds, yet only one female toilet/shower combined. So if someone is in the shower, then you can't use the toilet. They also don't clean the bathrooms,...
