Very pleased with my stay at Wombats this August. Very helpful staff, great sized bedroom for a hostel and a bathroom in each bedroom was the best part. Finding a hostel with a bathroom that is shared between only 4 people is very rare and a good bathroom at that! Additionally, the location was great and right in the centre... More

Having stayed in Wombats Munich, I was quite excited to stay here and see if it compared. It didn't. The hostel is big...really big...and it suffers from noise which doesn't seem to be well controlled by the hostel staff. Check in was fairly seamless, however we got caught out by not being able to pay our balance in Euro's cash... More

Today I want to inform everyone that this hostel was the dirtiest of all !! I stayed for 3 nights in this hostel and finish all flea bite mattress; face, legs, arms, my whole body! It has been the worst nights of my life in this hostel. I gave notice to the staff treated me bad saying it was not... More

It was a great value deal, very well located and rooms big and comfy, I booked the all female 6 bed room; which was cool...except sleep was a bit hard due to the noisy party goers screaming in the hallways at all hours. Aside from that the bar was nice, good live music on Tuesdays and great deals, they do... More

This hostel is absolutely amazing, it's really modern and the facilities are amazing. All really clean and arty. It's the biggest hostel I've ever stayed in and it was right in the heart of Budapest, a two minute walk from the metro. Don't risk not buying a ticket for the metro because there's people standing everywhere checking the tickets. The... More

This hostel is in an excellent location in the Pest side of Budapest! Close to the best bars, clubs & restaurants! a metro stop is close by helping to explore the city! The rooms are super clean, spacious & have their own bathroom which is fantastic! A cheap bar and excellent facilities! The staff are nice! Would definitely stay here... More

This hostel is very good. It does everything well and enjoys a good location. There were however, some dodgy people often hanging around the front door of the hostel. It would be good to have an increased security presence at the front door. The wi-fi worked well, the food/breakfasts were very good, the bar was a nice touch and the... More

I stayed here for 3 nights. The hostel is located on a perfect spot! Next to the booming nightlife and across the street from the city centre. The hostel itself is pretty big what made it look pretty quiet. But still a good spot to meet other solo backpackers. Staff is friendly and willing to help. Rooms are clean. Breakfast... More

Stayed here in late August for 5 nights - overall a pleasant stay. We had a private room which I would recommend if your budget allows it. The hostel is very central and was easy to find. Room was cleaned everyday and towels were provided, staff were friendly. Only issue was having to leave my drivers license in reception in... More

The room was fine as the bed was comfy but the decor was massively outdated and the curtains in the room and shower were broken and didn't fit properly. No hand soap in the bathroom of our room which was scraping the barrel in all honesty. The wifi is terrible and may as well not exist as it cuts out... More
