The pension is very nice and warm (important considering it's -7° outside). Staff is super friendly, our room was big and had lots of natural light coming through the skylights. Breakfast was pretty good, with cold cuts, cheese, cereal, yogurt, bread.. It's very close to the tram stop, and ~15 minute walk to the bus stop that goes direct into...

I recently spent almost a week in Budapest and stayed at the Hotel Abel Pension. My bed was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the daily simple breakfast Traveled by myself and found the location was perfect even though it is a little out of the way in a quiet neighborhood on the Buda side. I felt very comfortable walking alone...

It was a pleasure to stay in this Art Deco style hotel in a lovely quiet neighbourhood of Budapest. Our room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was typically European and most enjoyable. The nicest part of staying in a b&b is meeting visitors from different countries. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. There is easy access from either end of...

We stayed for 4 nights last week and were very comfortable there. Although it's some distance from the city centre, the public transport is fantastic, with a frequent tram service passing within 5 minutes walk of the guesthouse. Helpful, friendly staff, comfortable bed, room and ensuite bathroom very clean, lots of wardrobe space. Breakfast fine: fruit juice, muesli or cornflakes,...

Stayed here a s I was working in the area.It has only a few rooms in a very quiet street out of the town centre, but has a decent tram and bus link into the centre of Budapest. The staff were most helpful with reasonable spoken English, a fair choice for breakfast, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable,...

This is a nice spot on a quiet street. Very simple accommodations, very clean. We were able to stay in the sitting area waiting for our train on our last day instead of having to wait in the cold train station, which was very nice. The young hostesses are amazing and so helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Convenient location, quite street, I arrived very late 1:00 am and was received kindly. A good simple room. The bed could use a topper - which is my only complaint. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was very good.

A very nice place, on the Buda side, close to the center. There is a bus stop nearby. The staff spoke english so that we found out what we asked about, very nice and helpful. We parked the car in from of the hotel (for free). The room (double bed) was spacious, very clean, comfortable bed, we had our own...

This B&B on the Buda side of the river has the makings of a hidden Gem. We stayed for 5 nights. It's tucked away on a peaceful residential road, but with excellent transport links to the city centre (tram stop literally 2 minutes walk from the front door). Every room has it's own en suite bathroom, though they all differ...

My husband, daughter, niece and I had two rooms in Abel Panzio in early July. We loved the care of the attentive staff, the convenience of drinks, the yummy shared breakfast in shared space, the beautiful back garden, and the ease of getting to historic sites yet having the peace and quite of Abel Panzio. If we ever get back...
