Smallish but clean and comfy room on the Danube 5 minutes to the 4/6 and no.2 tram handy for bar and shops very central and a more than adequate breakfast with verry friendly staff.

I'm sitting outside my room on the boat as I write this. I had read the mixed reviews as to the location, bad pillows and closed bar. I also read that the room air conditioning was not reliable and this is the reason I'm not in my room! They were apologetic but as it seems like an on going problem,...

I stayed in a double room on the river side. Nothing fancy, but clean, safe and close to Pest. And net even serviced every day. The TV had only 1 English channel. The mini-bar was fairly priced. But the Lord Nelson resturant is best avoided unless you're starving. There is a McDonalds less than 500 yards away. But crossing the...

I had the misfortune to stay here recently. I booked a single room through Travel Republic and the Voucher clearly stated hotel. On arrival I was told that all single rooms are in the hostel section of the converted ferry. The room had paper thin walls off a corridor and had a wash basin only. The toilets and communal showers...

Stayed in what would assumed to be the Hotel area of the boat as opposed to the Hostel rooms which were downstairs. Room was a reasonable size, clean with air con. The location is on the Pest side of the city and is reasonably handy for the city. Breakfast was 6 euroe's and was of a reasonable quality. Nice to...

We have just spent 5 nights at the Boat Fortuna Hotel. It was clean and comfortable and although the room wasn't huge it was perfectly adequate and it was a boat after all! We had a room on the road side of the boat and at first I thought it might be noisy, but in fact we couldn't hear the...

I booked a single room in this botel "hostel/hotel", this in itself is a miss-sell, this is in no way a hostel. The hostel section is basically the basement level of the ship, with one tiny port window which is high up and basically close to the water level (you wouldn't want to keep it open at night)- when you...

We stopped at the Boat Hotel Fortuna again as we were going to the Grand Prix but this time we stopped longer as we wnated to explore Budapest. Once again the room was clean and the reception desk was helpful when required. Cleaning was undertaken daily but this time I felt that at breakfast the hotel should have used the...

Booked superior room for three nights in July. When we arrived at tea time the room was far too hot to stay in. There is one air conditioning unit and it is nowhere near suffucient. We managed to sleep at night and it wasn't too bad in the morning, but we weren't able to go back to the room during...

My husband and I had planned a 2 night stay on board this hotel for our wedding anniversary. (We ended up staying for 4 nights due to the Icelandic Volcano - more on that later!). Upon arrival first time round we were very early but our room was ready so we could check in straight away - great! We were...
