We chose the Ibis Styles because it was walking distance from Kelati train station as well as the main attractions. The area in which it is located is a little rough and getting to and from the attractions involved going through several underpasses where homeless people were sleeping. The hotel itself was clean and breakfast was included. As with all...

Stayed with family in two rooms over the weekend, both rooms excellent and clean. WiFi OK, breakfast good, bar not too expensive. Close to center, but not to close, so parking on the street was free over the weekend :-) I would go again there

We stayed at this Hotel from Friday to Monday, we were welcomed by the reception staff when we arrived, they were all very nice, spoke very good English. Once checkin was completed we went to our room, I had booked two single beds, the room we had been allocated had a double. So we went downstairs to get this changed,...

We were in the corner room on 2nd floor. It was a very lovely & clean room with high ceiling and big windows. Very well renovated building directly in city-life. Very close to metro station and very easily accessible even from Danube riverside or historic places on foot (once we missed the last metro train midnight and decide to walk...

Stayed here for 4 nights with our school group. Friendly staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. Close to public transport and a grocery store. I had a single and it was a tight squeeze getting my suitcase into the room. There wasn't much space to walk around, but since we weren't in our rooms much at all...

The staff are friendly especially Bogi and Szandra who great you every day with a smile and also helped us rearrange our hotel transfer. Went for a 3 night city break in Budapest last week and stayed at the Ibis Styles. Really glad I did! The hotel itself is bright and open and has been decorated in a retro video game look which is a nice touch. The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms were clean and tidy and I liked the map on...

We both really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The breakfast was good and made this great value. We enjoyed the bright decor and nice touches such as bathroom speaker connected to the TV. The complimentary fruit, water and coffee/tea in the reception is also a nice touch. The rooms and all areas of the hotel were clean. The bathroom shower...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
