Great staff, pleasant room, would thoroughly recommend. Don't miss the sauna and Jacuzzi at only about a fiver each for an hour and a half. Two minute walk to the bus or tram and then easy access to the whole city. We used a 72 hour pass (about £11) which got us around everywhere and back to the airport

Excellent hotel. Booked for the program Wizztours FLIGHT + HOTEL! Everything was good, a convenient location. Good service. Wi-Fi is good. From the inconvenience - 2 separate single beds. Nearby there is a good restaurant and a convenience store. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

The hotel is pretty close to city center, You can take one of three buses that will take you to the center in 10 minutes. The room is regular, nothing special, water ok,breakfast costs 10 euros and its not so good. One of 3 nights the room hadnt been cleaned.

We stayed in this Hotel at the Beginning of October Booked it as Part of a Package through Wizz Tours. First impressions on arrival were good although it's next to a main road didn't hear any noise at all from traffic. Receptionist upon Arrival was very helpful arrived late at night we were greeted with a smile and the guy...

Well this trip was a gift for our Ruby Wedding anniversary and we was keyed up for something really nice. The hotel is somewhere in between a 2-3 star. The room was OK but with bugs on the curtains and rips in the curtains, we started to feel a little concerned. On the plus side, the staff on reception were...

Dear Frankie0_1_11, Thank you very much for your feedback! We took your feedback as an advice on how to improve our facilities. We already took care of the curtains and ordered new ones. The bugs come from outside, when the room window is opened they fly in. Of course we will pay much more attention on this in the future!...

Staff very helpful and friendly and speak good english. The lounge/bar area is comfortable with settees and armchairs and pleasant decor. Our room was spacious and clean with plenty of towels and toiletries, perhaps the curtains needed rehanging but overall very good. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice of cereals, eggs, bacon, rolls, cheeses, cold meats and jams...

The decor is basic and a little dated however the hotel is extremely clean. For the price you pay this hotel is very good value for money. The breakfast is what you'd expect and caters for all. The highlight to this stay is the staff, they're friendly and helpful no matter what time of day or night and really make...

Perfect for our short break, the staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is well located, with very easy access via buses and trams, just a few minutes walk away. A 4-5 minute walk around the corner, jump on the 112 / 110 or 8E and in a few minutes you are over the bridge in Pest, right...

Staying in Gellert Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Gellert Hill
If you want to treat your camera to some amazing scenery, Gellért Hill is a must on your itinerary. A funicular journey from the Chain Bridge along the hillsides provides a fast connection between Buda and Pest, hoisting visitors to panoramic vistas. Once on top of the hill, you’ll find the Citadel dominate the landscape with its imposing 19th century construction, a site that’s hard to keep your eyes on without being distracted by the phenomenal view over the Danube and the eight bridges crossing. Once on Gellért Hill however, one mustn’t miss the famous Gellért Baths. Budapest is renown for its thermal waters and its baths, and the Gellért Baths are housed in an impressive art nouveau structure. Its interior design, with its many mosaics, recalls the preceding relationships the city has had with healing springs and saunas, traditionally used within this neighborhood since the Ottoman Empire.
