Surrounded by a national park this hotel is the best you can get in the city. GYM, sauna and a large outdoor pool with well maintained garden. Restaurants nearby and private parking. Tennis courts and small train 10 minutes walk away.

Fab place, great location, great staff and a great time had by all! Have returned to Normafa on each visit to Budapest and will continue to do so! Peaceful and relaxing yet only a bus ride into Moscow square - staff extremely helpful and pleasant.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It is really a wonderful place. All the team members are friendly, professional, helpful and accommodating. They are highly efficient and eager to please. Rooms are pleasant and services are superb. Breakfast was awesome and I just loved the place. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, Good kitchen, and a great breakfast that is included with your stay. For summer, there is a great big pool with bar service. I was now there in March and it was still a great...

What a special place to stay in Budapest! The staff was helpful during a family emergency back home by letting us use their wifi. The setting was beautiful and peaceful and well worth the short bus trip to the inner city. The breakfast buffet was fresh, beautifully presented and complete. Our room and the rest of the hotel were kept...

Normafa is the best-located hotel if you are visiting the Wigner physics research institute, which is also known as KFKI. Bus 21 takes you directly to KFKI's gate in about 4 minutes. It's in the opposite direction from the city. Buy individual bus tickets at the hotel, or a weekly pass at a big metro station in the city. I've...

The hotel was lovely. Alpine chalet in style. Well out of the hustle and bustle of Budapest, but a brilliant bus service to get you there. Rooms were clean. Food was limited, but well presented. One downside, no air con in our room and it was very hot. We were given a fan when asked for one. Pool and gardens...

Hotel was clean well maintained and the 2 rooms we had were without fault without being glamorous. We stayed mid august so it was really hot first 2 days with no air con but staff gave us fans, we were on 2nd floor so the heat rises. Pool area lovely and the breakfast patio and surrounds fab and very well...

Had a great holiday - myself, husband, 4 year old daughter and mother. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sun loungers both in the shade and the sun. The breakfasts were good and the lunches in the pergola restaurant were delicious. The Normafa grill was quite good but we preferred the Normakerta restaurant opposite...
