A good and well located hotel. The best part was easy and free access to WIFI Shops, fast food restaurants and tram stations are all within walking distance. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is good and the selection wide. Would recommend it.

The room was clean. Breakfast was included and was decent. If all you need is a bed to sleep in, then this place is totally fine. It's located on a main street, and there are bus and tram stops just down the road. It's also right across from the train station. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Easy access to...

A good staff, who give us a quiet room. AC is pleasant when it is up to 30°C outside. Room was clean and smell good for a smoking one. The only dark point was the absence of ashtray for a smoking room... Good location near the Budapest's train station, just a little far from some center of interest but you...

The hotel is in an excellent location, the perfect place for people who hate lugging their heavy luggage around. That being said, the rooms were dirty and there were holes on the curtains. That's unacceptable for a 4 star establishment.

The Hotel Hungaria is a perfectly adequate hotel. It has a 1950’s Communist era décor and it offers a journey back in time, which could be quite appealing to some. Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
