Reviewed yesterday NEW

In the midst of a pedestrian street with lots of shopping and restaurants. Short walk to the hop on hop off bus stop. Also very near to the metro station. In short, great location. I had a renovated room so everything was almost brand new, in excellent condition, and super comfortable!

Within walking distance of everything. Good breakfast, service, cleanliness. Decor is a bit dated and bland with not much character but it is being refurbished, Helpful efficient staff. The hotel is on a pedestrian street with car/taxi access around the back one way streets.

I enjoyed my stay st the Mercure City Center. Easy walk to the river and walking streets. Quiet comfortable rooms. Good breakfast is included. The beds are harder than I like , but doable. Free wifi. Not much of a view from my room on the 4 Th floor. I'll stay here again.

In general quite a good place to stay, in city center, 5-7 min walk to main sightseeing. But no way to stay 1 and second floor, there is old rooms, even smoking aloud as a result - unpleasant smells. Last night of my stay I ve been in superior on 5th floor, so very nice room, with new modern interior....

I have been in this Mercure hotel for two nights, I booked a Privilege room and during the check-in I found a very well preparated receptionist who offered me the access to the Privilege lounge during my stay. Made a mistake and booked a standard room when I thought I had booked a superior room. The standard room tbh was pretty dire but the hotel is upgrading all the rooms at the moment. The hotel was full but was able to upgrade us on day 3. The superior rooms are... welll... what can one say ....superior? Very superior...

Stayed here only for one night. Was dropped off by taxi from the airport and was not impressed, as the drop off is underground basically where the waste bins are located. You then go upstairs to reception where it gets better. Check in was very efficient and friendly. I was given a newly refurbished room on the 5th floor. Room...

This is an hotel that is ideally located in Budapest close to restaurants and shopping area. Additionnally it has been fully renovated. Bedrooms are very confortable and offer everything you would expect from a 4 stars hotel.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
