This place was included in our organised stag-do through an events company as it's cheap, comfortable and friendly. Not too far from the city centre (walk or two minute taxi ride). Capital Square just up the road. Very spacious, self catering facilities.

I had picked an airBnb place (nearby) for our first night in Budapest (now THAT was an experience! my husband could not have gotten out of that situation fast enough). after this auspicous start, i assured Jim we would look in the neighborhood for something reasonable, (fearing he otherwise bolt for the dependable but not inexpensive IBIS Hotel across town)....

It is just a few minutes from where we lived and taught in Budapest in 1996/7 and in summer schools later. All our friends stayed there and loved it because of the large rooms, ability to self-cater a little, quiet street and nearness to Hero,s Square, the Opera House, ace coffee shops and cafes, the hot baths in the park...

CLOSED! Stopped by this property to investigate bringing a group here next summer. The signage has been removed, and when we finally got someone to answer, they indicated that it's under new management, catering to corporate clients, and may or may not be available for public bookings. We took a brief tour of the rooms - they're looking pretty run...

Hotel Radio Inn has been the place I have chosen to stay at the last few times I have travelled to Budapest. It it situated very close to the M1 (Bajza utca station), the Troli-bus and some bus routes. The Széchenyi baths, Hôsök Tere and the Museums around the square are within walking distance, as is Liszt Tér and the...

As always the place was clean, is in a safe neighborhood (day and night), and quiet. The price was great and it was for an apartment, not just a room. It gives you a chance to buy food in their lovely markets and cook a few things in the kitchen. The location is a few blocks from Hero's Square and...

Radio Inn isn't flashy or plush, but it's very much of a piece with old Budapest, and is wonderfully situated for all kinds of exploration of the city, just two blocks from Andrassy Ut and the darling 1 line subway, and a short walk from the city park with the incredible Szechenyi baths, the Fine Arts Museum, and the Zoo....

I stayed with my family at Radio Inn in July 2010 and we were very glad to have chosen this hotel. Good bargain (incredibly inexpensive in fact), a 2-bedroom-apartment where we could easily have cooked both breakfast and supper, if we had preferred to do so. The location was excellent - easy to reach from downtown with the cosy yellow...

i used tripadvisor to pick this hotel; so, when we had a horrible experience i reread the reviews to see if i had missed something. i don't understand how people had positive things to say. the hotel was dirty, in ill repair, felt unsafe, the hotel staff was horrible, and the location was imperfect. we had problems from the get-go....

“DO have one individual inside the room when you first lock yourself in for the night if you are staying in Room 501 (?). For some odd reason the door did not re-open, once locked! We tried for 10 minutes and had to call out the window to neighboring apartments to have the manager come unlock from the outside. Whether this was our error or a fault of the lock, it WAS a "first" for us, and scarey, what with most of the places we stay not having phones in the room.”
