It's a cozy place with very good conditions. It is near the metro station. The staff are really nice and helpful. The amazing thing about this hostel is that it's made so that you have to meet and talk with the people who are staying there which is something most hostels don't have. You feel at home here. Thank you...

I came here on the recommendation on another traveller, and I'm so glad I did. I was traveling solo and because of the set up, I was able to easily meet other solo travellers. Tim encouraged everyone to sit together, he had games, planned a movie night, and was always around for a chat and some recommendations. It was kind...

It seems that Tiger Tim's is one of the only hostels in the world that actually has working Wi-Fi and showers with generous flow. We were there on the last couple days of Sziget. The staff were really friendly, provided us with great tips for where to go and the hostel was also clean. At the heart of the city...

The one thing every backpacker want to feel when they are travelling around Europe is a "welcome home" this is exactly what Tim feels like. Beside that fat that Tim himself is a lovely guy from my native country Ireland. Tiger Tim is a very welcoming and social place with free pub crawls most night and great people both by...

This hostel is very social, with pub crawls running from the hostel every night. The guys that work there and run the pub crawl are so accommodating and friendly so I'd definitely recommend going if you're up for meeting new people and socialising. What I would say though is that the hostess working there is very intimidating and rude, she...

A pretty great hostel if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere and nothing too fancy. Very youth orientated with a free pub crawl each night going to the popular ruin bars starting at the hostel with pre-drinks, this helps you to get to know a lot of the other people in the hostel with a good atmosphere and drinking games....

Received a very intimidating welcome and were poorly received by the hostess upon arrival. Were scolded, judged and scrutinised by the very same hostess. The safes were faulty, poorly cleaned rooms with cobwebs and dust everywhere. One of our party suffers from arachnophobia and felt very uncomfortable. The bedrooms in the attic were at an unhealthy room temperature which proved...

Tiger Tim's was amazing! We stayed here for 2 nights and the experience was most definitely pleasant! The hostel is located a short and easy metro ride from the main train station, and all touristy spots are easily reached from it. We were greeted by Aya who is the nicest, most welcoming person in Budapest! She showed us our room,...

My husband and I stayed here for four nights. For starters, this hostel is almost impossible to find. Even with the directions from the website, it took us around half an hour to find it thanks to the lack of signage and confusing street numbers. So I’d say don’t book this place if you’re arriving late at night, like we...
