Great Hotel, great location(very quiet), wonderful service during breakfast time. We had a beautiful room in the 4th floor looking towards the liberty square. We can only recommend this hotel as it close to many, many lovely restaurants and close to many places of interest(only a few minutes walk to the parliament, St. Stephens Cathedral, Opera House...). You can even... More

I spent 2 nights in Iberostar Budapest with 2 colleagues from China and we were so happy with everything. Great service, great restaurant and bar with a terrace on the square, everything just great and she-DJ played a bosa nova stuff on the terrace in the evening. Bonus - Slovak speaking manager at the front desk. I can strongly recommend... More

I have traveled to many places and this easily ranks as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff and service was perfect. Could not ask for a better location. After a day of sightseeing and a night out on the town... the beds were very welcoming. Cant say enough about this hotel. Pleasantly surprised all... More

Amasing location for shopping, restaurants. I loved the place. The hotel was clean: The reception ladies were efficient and very diligent in their workplace. They recommended a variety of different activities, booked hair appointments, massage, taxis boat trips etc. I had a sore throat. The restaurant staff were fantastic as well. I cannot over emphasise my gratitude to Timea and... More

Me and my wife visited Budapest on our Honeymoon. The receptionist congratulated us, upgraded us and had us a bottle of fizz brought to the room which made our stay even more special. Out of all the places we visited on the trip (Paris, Venice & Budapest) we both agreed that Budapest was our favourite. We would definitely stay in... More

Stayed for a night at the end of a trip to Budapest. What an amazing hotel. The lobby and entrance are very stylish and comfortable. Staff greeted us warmly and offered a wine as a welcome! The staff were really helpful and could not have done any more to help us. The room was fab, we got an upgrade to... More

This is a very comfortable, modern hotel in a fantastic location for a break in Budapest. The hotel itself is arranged over 5 floors plus a spa in the basement. It is impressively modern, but small enough to retain a certain 'boutique' charm. There is a comfortable central atrium and a very nice bar, restaurant and terrace area overlooking Liberty... More

We stayed here during their summer festival season. It was reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel- but location and service were outstanding. A nice welcome glass of bubbly on arrival immediately puts you at ease! A couple of minor issues with housekeeping, but these were immediately rectified and they also left a goody bag in the room to apologise.... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
