Stayed for four nights in the Santico Art Hostel! It is a hostel, not hotel so it wasn't 5 star, however I couldn't fault the cool place at all! It Took a minute to find it as it is not clearly marked but once we found it, the location was great! Lydia showed us our room and took time to...

This hostel was quite dissapointing. Lights didnt work, it was cluttered and quite dirty in places. No toilet roll and we each had just one towel for the entire stay. A group of men lurked on the balcony all day every day which was very intimidating and our balcony was used by the hostel to dry their linen on. The...

Cheap location Had to wait approx. 10 minutes for the host (we had arrived late) Restaurant This hotel is about 5 minutes from the restaurants in Buda and about a 20 minute walk from the hotel in Pest. The restaurants are all excellent and fairly inexpensive. Very nice

I had a great time at this hotel, the vibe is very good, it is very artistic and free feeling. I met the owner Czaba who is a mens man, he will take care of everything you need. The place is decorated beatufuly and tastefuly, and building is a real buty, a real antique building with a court yard full...

Lovely hostel with very comfortable rooms. This is the second time I have stayed this year. Metro station 1 min walk, supermarket across the road and directly opposite the parliament building on the buda side of the Danube. Very handy for all the main sites in the city. The owner could not be more helpful and pleasant. All facilities from...

I stayed 5 nights here with a friend. We booked a double room, but got a nice bigger room instead. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room and common areas were clean and the rooms and building give you a specific ambiance. There were some renovations, so it will be fresh in summer. The only downside was the...

Great location. Short walking distance to most important places in Budapest. A lot of small cafe's nearby. Santico Art Hostel is close to metro station. Cheap supermarket is 1 minutes walking. The best view on the Parliament from the nearlest square.

I'll start with the only downside - the hostel is located very near to a church, and if you are someone who likes a lie-in, or will be partying hard the night before, this might not be the best bet for you. You will be woken up at 7am by the church bells. Everything else is fantastic. Friendly owner, relaxed...

“If you are travelling solo or with a bunch of friends, then come here. It's not luxury, but it's very, very nice for the price. Much better than some hostels. We even had a coach in our quadruple room. Besides, everyone is friendly. It feels like home.”
