The apartment house is adjacent to Gold Hotel Budapest. The apartment is very well located, only a couple of blocks from the Buda Castle, and close to the Citadel with the Liberty statue. We had breakfast in the next door hotel, which was great. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The apartments are located next to Gold Hotel Wine & Dine , where we could check in, and enjoy all hotel services. It is really a good combination, because we could take a large apartment with reasonable price and with hote services. The location is fantastic, we could walk around the historic part of Budapest. I also liked breakfast in...

I love the Buda side in Budapest, especially this location. You can get to the city center very quickly and you can enjoy great services in this hotel. We tasted many wines and foods here and we enjoyed every moment. The apartment is large, 2 rooms, kithchen, dining room, bathroom, separate Wc. Clean, nice, I would return.

The location of the hotel is on Buda and is very close to a bus station which takes you to the center in less than 5 mins. Walking is also very pleasant across the Elizabeth bridge and takes about 15 mins. The 4 bedroom apartment was Ok. The rooms were convenient but for some reason were extremely chilly during the...

It was really a good choice. The price is moderate, it was comfortable for 5 persons and we could use the hotel services next door. The apartment is large, there is also a kitchen, however we prefer used the restaurant of the hotel.

Staying in Gellert Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Gellert Hill
If you want to treat your camera to some amazing scenery, Gellért Hill is a must on your itinerary. A funicular journey from the Chain Bridge along the hillsides provides a fast connection between Buda and Pest, hoisting visitors to panoramic vistas. Once on top of the hill, you’ll find the Citadel dominate the landscape with its imposing 19th century construction, a site that’s hard to keep your eyes on without being distracted by the phenomenal view over the Danube and the eight bridges crossing. Once on Gellért Hill however, one mustn’t miss the famous Gellért Baths. Budapest is renown for its thermal waters and its baths, and the Gellért Baths are housed in an impressive art nouveau structure. Its interior design, with its many mosaics, recalls the preceding relationships the city has had with healing springs and saunas, traditionally used within this neighborhood since the Ottoman Empire.
