Liked hotel would comeback again. Rooms modern and clean. Good choice of options at breakfast. Hotel a few yards away from metro, railway station and a number of bus routes. Hotel also has private car that can collect from airport. Staff helpful and friendly.

My friend and I have just returned from a 5 night stay in this very comfortable and welcoming hotel. On our arrival we were greeted warmly by the receptionists, and throughout our stay the staff were pleasant, friendly and very helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower was one of the best I have ever come across in a...

The hotel was great for our 3 night stay in Budapest. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast more than adequate. Choice of hot or cold, fresh fruit, juice etc. You could upgrade to a superior room but we didn't. There is not kettle in standard room but Daniel on reception said he would have provided one if we...

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay of 4 days here in late February. It is a perfectly nice, budget hotel, located just outside the main city but near the station and with buses and taxis aplenty nearby. The hotel staff were very warm and helpful, especially Sabine and Daniel! Breakfast was plentiful and not overcrowded in the small but tidy...

The main thing we wanted was a place near the train station so we didn't have to go far with our bags. This place is just across the (big) street and down a half block from the station. It is clean and friendly. The rooms are simple but clean and sufficiently comfy. Like all the places we stayed on our...

We stayed for a 3 night break. Hotel is very clean and the rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. We did find the lighting in the room poor for reading in bed or using a laptop at the desk. Located next to the railway station and a short Metro ride into the City Centre. Very cheap ticket available...

We stayed for 3 nights and payed an extremely good price which included breakfast. Room was clean and spacious. Room was quite warm but we were on 5th floor so just kept the window open. I agree with some other comments about size of breakfast room but we went for about 8am and managed to get a table fine. Breakfast...

Staff were very welcoming upon arrival, and throughout our whole stay! Everything was very clean and standards were kept well. Room was nice and spacious without being too big and was not cold at all! The day we left a very nice gentleman working in the foyer called us a taxi and helped with our bags. He was by far...

Close to the train station, early checkin was possible (before 14:00), friendly staff, free internet, comfortable bed, nice and clean bathroom. Sufficient selection of cheese, fruits, salami at the breakfast, only any crunchy bread felt.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
