Excellent is the word to describe it! The position is central, on the main shopping street, 2 minutes walking from the metro station and the biggest indoor market. Everything is very clean, the room is cosy and the personnel is incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast is very good. They also have a restaurant downstairs which is good. They are...

We stopped here for 3 nights at the end of January for my partners birthday My first impressions were great. It was my partners birthday and the recepetion staff had organised a small bottle of champagne for the room and they were extremely helpful when we asked for directions and the best places to visit. However, breakfast was a nightmare!...

Room clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. Good location, close to many shops, restaurants and the river. We would have liked to have been able to use the air conditioning to keep the room somewhat warmer. The buffet at breakfast was fine, but the place was somewhat small, as when crowded people at the same time were somewhat cramped....

Such a gem this hotel is for tourists staying in Budapest. The location is the best thing about this hotel by far, being in the centre of Budapest surrounded by cafes, restaurants, takeaway places and a bus stop across the road for all major tourist/hop on hop off buses. The staff are very friendly and welcoming giving information on sights...

Location of the hotel is very good, it is located at the end of well known pedestrian Vaci Street and close to metro&tram stations. Our room was clean and comfortable. Hotel personnel were helpful and willing to answer questions about city.

very friendly staff, feels like home. It did bother me a little to have to ring the door bell each time we wanted to get into the hotel, room was awesome, very colorful and bright...I have to say though that it was maybe too hot? Breakfast could have been more assorted but overall we had an excellent stay at cosmo.

Cosmo City Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel, located in section 5 of Budapest. Besides being a great value for the money, the hotel's location is near many fine dining options, near the historic bridge connecting Pest with Buda, and one block from the Danube River. A real find.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
