This hostel has only two strong features - location & price. Fortunately these two features are usually the key ones for hostel travelers. Although the rooms are large and more or less comfortable, the services are pretty basic...even for a hostel. We have been there during a weekend and there was a loud disco club in the yard - may...

This hotel is perfect for young people that want to party all night and rather sleep in the day. It has included entry to a discoteque that is in the same building. It`s a cheap, so obviously not very high standard. The best part is the location, it is in the middle of Budapest center in a lovely street and...

There are many funny places where you can stay and sleep in Budapest. But this hostel is the right place to sleep for non-sleepers or headphones users only - because of very loud discoteque (electronic all night long party) on the ground floor of the building. The location is perfect; the rooms are equiped in spartan style; the price is...

The location of this hostel is absolutely fantastic - about 100 metres from St. Peters Basilica in one direction, and the Chain Bridge in the other. For backpackers on a tight budget, this was perfect. This part of Budapest was also incredibly safe and the hostel itself very secure - there was a large gate which you needed a code...

it is bad when you are on the club side of the hostel. You can always ask if you phone up to not be on that side and then sleeping is absolutely fine! but just bring ear plugs (as you should when travelling) and you will be fine. But for what you pay the rooms could be better equip and...

The location is great. You are within 15 minutes walking distance from virtually every sight in Budapest (the parliament, the chain bridge, the castle etc.). However, there are a few sore points. First of all, finding the hostel is actually impossible if you don't know where it is. The address is given: Zrinyi Utca nr. 4. So I got there...

I booked this hostel for the first and for sure the last time. Since my favourite hostels were fully booked I ended up booking in this hostel which is very centrally located in Budapest so you have everything near- within 15 minutes on foot. But a very unpleasant surprise was waiting for me...it is over the resto-bar-club Ötkert which from...

The hostel is ok: good rooms, good kitchen, normal shared bathrooms, low price, good location. However, it is almost impossible to sleep till 5 am due to the music from the disco on the ground floor and the drunk people screaming and laughing inside the hostel. If you only want party, this is the correct place. If not, choose another...

First of all: This place looks like a prision, with tiny corridors, small "cells" And metal door. But even the worst criminal deserves a better night of sleep than the one we had. This two nights have been An experiênce close To a sleeping torture. Of courae we read that there's a disco in the same building of the Hostel...

I booked this hostel room because it would be just one night for us, a couple of freinds travelling together, however I was there and realized it wasnt great even for one night! We were on a trip in eastern EU and it would be just a one night stop beofre we fly off to Warsaw, but the accomodation was...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
