Hotel is located in the old jewish quarter. It is a 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of Budapest, with a metro stop just around the block. It is also located in the heart of the ruin pub area. The front desk is wonderful and try to do whatever it takes to make your stay a bit nicer.

Placed in the old jewish quarter, it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the centre of Budapest, with the metro right around the corner making the trip even shorter. The room was a bit worn, but reasonable for the price. The staff at the desk were really helpful. We did not try the breakfast as it seemed a bit...

The Zara is a diamond in a neighborhood that is not quite there yet. The Zara is located near the Hotel Boscolo, New York Cafe and the Hop On Hop Off, and many of the things we were interested in visiting. It is a moderate walk from the Danube, allowing us to see the Pest area of Budapest. The hotel...

The hotel is beautifully decorated with marble and trikes in the lobby. Live music plays in the lobby at night. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and up to date. The staff was helpful and polite. The outdoor courtyards are beautiful. Breakfast was not included but many small quaint cafes are present within two blocks.

The front gate is, to say the least, spectacular, and the hotel is very pleasant, not exactly centrally located, but gives a chance to see a part of Pest that is not as tourist focused. Nonetheless, it was not a problem. Rooms are generous, comfortable, wifi is good, showers are great. Commen: Be careful about Taxis in Budapest. The vast...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
