This is the worst hostel I've been to. There's no sign on the door. There are no light on in the building. The staff can barely communicate. There is no common space. The room was not what we paid for. When we tried to cancel in advance we were told we would be charged two nights, even though it was...

Hostels can be crowdy and noisy but not this one. If you are lucky you have the big room at the streetside but the the more cosy double at the back is nice too. Location is juts perfect if you like the edgy side of Pest. Bikerental is just around the corner and the squaterscafe Simpla is a must! yes...

This is a lovely, quiet hostel with great staff. It is set in very nice courtyard and garden. There is a small kitchen. There is staff there 24/7.

We had a great time in MetroMM. For that price we got really good facilities. Free coffee and tee all day. The staff is friendly (they offered a glas of good hungarian wine) and helpful and they can speak good English. Free wifi was also a good thing. I recommend for everybody who want to relax. Rooms are clean and...

Clean hostel. We had the only double. It was next to kitchen and didn't feel very private. Minor thing, shower left bathroom floor very wet. Staff friendly and let us use Internet. Free filter coffee. Situated near good bars too.

This is a small hostel, locate near the center of the town, near the synagogue, about 15min. with public transport. We stained in the suite with private bathroom. The room is divided in 2 levels, and the bed was upstairs, the rest downstairs. We were provided with a key to lock the room and a closet. You have to give...

I have been to this hostel while I was in Budapest in March. It is a small hostel where you can feel as if you were at home. A very nice and clean place. The price is reasonable, it's a cheap hostel!!! The personal is very kind and helpful, they help you to plan sightseeing and everything. Very good clubs...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
