What a terrible place to stay! At first glance, the hostel itself isn't horrific but (as someone who has slept happily in a shack in India) let me tell you why I hated my stay here and couldn't wait to leave... - upon arrival, no reception just an old lady's flat with an old lady who speaks no English trying...

This is a home stay and not a hostel. The apartment is owned by an elderly lady who rents out rooms. The bathroom was terrible gas heater in the room certainly doesn't look safe. Only one toilet as well. We stayed the one night before we found other accommodation, we were refunded our money though for the nights we didn't...

We stayed two nights with my friend in the hostel because we celebrated his birthday in Budapest. Small hostel centrally located, it's near to the nightlife, all tourists attractions and to the public transport M3, M4, M2 underground stations, etc. The ownner was friendly, well informed and helpful. She gave us good tips. Our room was nice, big, comfortable, quiet...

Where should I start? It's a condo transformed into a hostel by the owner (an old lady who doesn't speak english, only lil german)... The hostel is super dirty, there is only one (filthy) bathroom in the whole house, there's a kitchen you can use only a couple hours a day. To get into your room, you have to pass...

If you ask me how I would describe my stay at the Budapest civil hostel, the answer would definetly be: " First day impressed, last day depressed ! ".Lady (owner) is renting a few rooms in her flat, and this can't be called a hostel. I was a bit lucky cause I booked seperate room together with my girlfriend, so i wasn't...

Probably the worst hostel I have ever been into. Old woman turned her big flat into small hostel. We weree staying in 6-bed bedroom that was actually a living room. Next to our room was a room for 5 people. They were passing all the time through our room because that was the only way to their room. Old woman...

The lady you meet there is a very nice and she will give you tips and tricks where to go, where to buy etc. without being ripped off, her advice is very useful better than some guide. The...

Where to begin? The owners rent out spaces in their condo or something, mostly in a hall way that has beds all over and a stinky loft area. They would not answer the door bell most of the time, tried to change the price of the room once we agreed on a price etc.. No normal person would stay here,...

Dear unknown Guest, your opinion is extremely surprising and defamatory. I am sorry to say but I cannot imagine you have been in my hostel at all. How come you could write such a comment on my hostel? Maybe you were in an other one. In our building there are 4 other hostels and flats for rent. We can only...
