Our stay in Budapest Centrum Hostel was amazing! Me and my friends went to many hostels during our euro-trip but this hostel was by far the best. The guy who owns this place (Alex) really makes you feel comfortable and he is just such a nice guy. Alex gave us a lot of good tips and information on what to...

This hostel was by far the best of our euro-trip. The rooms are very clean with own bathrooms. The cozy kitchen/living is a great place to meet fellow tourists and new friends. Alex is the best host ever. It's like staying with your brother as he gives fantastic tips of the city or sells tickets to whatever you want. Our...

Our stay here was great! We had a really nice, big open 6-bed room with an en-suite bathroom. The kitchen/living room area was great to sit down/chill in, and meet other people. The owner (Alex) was really cool, friendly and helpful, and gave us alot of good tips on sightseeing/partying. He even came to open the door for us, when...

Great hostel, really central to everything and only a 5minute walk from the underground. Alex that ran the hostel was so helpful and helped us get sold out tickets to a bath party, Alex was so welcoming and helpful would definitely return again :)

The host, Alex, is a really nice guy who gave the best tips on things to do in the city. The rooms are really clean and have great beds. We stayed in a private 4 person room with an ensuite bathroom which was really convenient and clean. We decided to stay one more night but the hostel was full so...

This is a great hostel! It's fairly cheap, central and it really feels like home. Alex is very helpful, has loads of tips and information about Budapest and always has time for a chat. We got a big six-bed room with bathroom to ourselves (two people), and both room, bathroom and common area were clean and neat. Very happy with...

This hostel is right next to the Parlament and many other interesting touristic places. We stayed in a very spacious, 2-floors room for 6, clean and with our own bathroom and even a sofa. You can use everything in the kitchen (you can make your coffee or tea anytime), good condition and clean. Alex is the manager and the only...

This place is very comfortable, spacious and clean. In the center of the city, close to the main attractions, restaurants and clubs. The room was very tidy and the owner, Alex, provided us fresh towels. He also gave us useful advices about Budapest, places where to eat and things to see... The hostel is a big apartment, with several toilets....

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
