The stay was really good in general. The hotel has a perfect location just outside the Jewish quarter, close to most of the famous sights as well as night life venues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an active stay full of experience. The room was neat and comfy, the only possible downside I can think...

Although hard to find, this budget place is in a perfect location and has great staff to help you see Budapest. It has metro, tram and bus within metres and it is walking distance to the main pedestrian shopping street (Vaci Street). We had a free bottle of white wine in the room and were located in a large, quiet,...

The location of this hotel is fantastic, opposite the Great Synagogue, it was just a 2 minute walk away from Astoria station. It was quite difficult to find as the sign was quite small and it is a shared entrance. Don't be put off by this or the elevator as the hotel floor is lovely and the premises is very...

The hotel was clean and tidy. I liked the style of the interior and exterior. It was a quite and nice. However, we had difficulties to find the location as the sign is super small and confusing. Everything else like services and accommodations were great.

Just come back from 4 night stay . As other reviewers have stated don't be put off by the entrance -it is extremely safe and well organised with separate key for late night access of outer door and fob for entrance to hotel area. The lift is very old but quite quirky ! The receptionists were always pleasant and helpful....

Stayed here for 4 nights. Receptionist was friendly and helped us with anything we needed. Rooms were a good size and clean. As we were set back from the main road the room was very quiet too. Tea/coffee making facilities in reception. Great location, central to shops, bars and restaurants. Close to all tram, bus and metro routes too. Would...

These apartments were so clean and had everything you would need for a city break. The price was very reasonable and the added bonus of breakfast in a separate establishment was very very good. The people who run the hotel were very Friendly and we will stay here again.

Stayed with my boyfriend for 3 nights. Clean, good size and very convenient, central location. Free bottle of wine upon check in and the front desk staff were very helpful, calling us taxis and also letting us keep our 4 bags behind the desk after checkout. Would recommend to anyone going to Budapest :)

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
