These 2 apartments are in a great location within walking distance to most of the centre of Budapest and right next to one of the main Metro stations. We were welcomed by one of the owners who sat down and explained where all the attractions were and how to get around Budapest. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee...

We stayed here for four nights in December on a visit to Budapest for the Christmas markets. The apartment is really well-located, just five minutes walk from Vorosmarty Square and handy for most of the key attractions in Southern Pest. It's easy to find, and really useful to be able to pop back in after a day's shopping and drop...

I would stay there again - the proprietor was helpful and gave us a guided tour of the neighborhood - very good value, this apartment gave us a great base during our week in Budapest. Supermarket was ac cross the street and the subway was next door.

Myself and my missus stayed here for 3 nights, 4 days and had a pleasant stay. The directions given by the owner to get to the apartment from the airport was easy and spot on, and the place had great access to the metro, supermarkets and shops. In fact, it is in my opinion in the perfect location in Pest....

We stayed for a week in September and we couldn't have found a better place! On arrival the owner had given us a lot of useful advice on sightseeing, travel, shopping, eating out and even good exchange places in Budapest and provided us with maps of the city. The apartment is located in the centre of the Old Town, in...

My friend and I stayed at the PET apartments over Easter weekend. We were so pleased with it! Both of us had dietary restrictions, making it difficult to eat out. So, having a functioning kitchen was PERFECT! The beds were comfortable and all of the amenities were good. The apartment we were in had one room and a pull out...

We stayed for 5 nights in the PET2 apartment, which is located at 1052 Budapest, Petőfi S. u. 5. This is a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. The bed is a large king-size bed which is actually two singles put together. Therefore it is perfectly suitable for two people (friends for example), not just a couple. There...

The apartments were quite modern and all of the rooms were very clean and spacious. Our apartment and our friends both had a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard and where located just off two of the main roads. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was one toilet and a bathroom which had a shower, again both very clean.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
