Disclaimer: My very first Hostel Stay and I had no expectations or whatsoever I have never tried staying in a Hostel when I travel simply because of the reason that if I travel, I want to relax, to enjoy the amenities of the property I am staying in. However, this time around, my goal was to explore the city and...

The staff were pretty slow, as it took us the best part of an hour to check in, despite there being only 2 other groups before us who also had to check in. However, we found our stay pleasant. Since each room surrounds the terrace, it can be extremely noisy when there are large groups of loud people, however the...

I can offer this hostel if you travel alone or with friends. People are so kind and smiley. Rooms and common sharing areas are clean everyday. And it is in the city centre. There is a small cute pool. It is available for chilling. You can rent bicycle also. Enjoy there!! : ))

It would be a nice hostel if it were not summer - relative central location, very cool vibe, nice staff/kitchen/common area, clean, wifi in rooms. Problem is that in summer they only have two microscopic fans for a 10-bed dorm. The terrace is a nice touch, but the heat is just unbearable. (Given that in summer during the sziget festival...

Looks happy and amazing, stuff really friendly (although a bit too relaxed - we had to wait around 30 min to get checked in where there was no line), nice location, fan in each room (no AC, but still OK), clean. The best of all - BREAKFAST. 3 Euros, totally worth its price. Amazing scrambled eggs and sandwiches, also cereals,...

I really enjoyed staying here, the building is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and the general atmosphere is good. Also appreciated the great value breakfasts and drinks at the courtyard bar! The only downside of the place is that the rooms did get very hot at night, but if you make sure to pick a lower bunk near the...

The location of this hostel is perfect, only a few minutes walk to most of the ruin bars and close to tram stations. Facilities aren't too bad, good showers, can do your washing and Cute little terrace area to relax and meet people. The main negative for me was that there was no aircon, when I was in Budapest it...

Would recommend to anyone on a budget as very cheap but great quality. We stayed in a private room and it was so cool, each room was themed (ours was retro and had an old record player as a bedside cabinet, for example). Bathrooms were a little cramped and could have been cleaner but good showers. I can't speak for...

Overall we had a pleasant stay here, however one of the shared bathrooms wasn’t very clean and the floors were slightly dirty. For a hostel, it was really well decorated, with comfortable beds and funky rooms. The décor was lovely as too was the receptionist who seemed to work long hours but was always very friendly. The location is fairly...

I can definitely recommend Casa de la Musica as a cheap and comfortable place to stay in Budapest, if you're on a budget and don't want to stay in an expensive hotel. It's clean and comfortable, and in the centre of everything, with a lively bar and lovely colourful walls. The dorms were comfortable and clean, yet felt very basic...
