The hostel is small, but very nice. The staff very friendly, they help you with what do you want. At the breakfast you will receive bread, jam, milk, cereals, coffee and tea. The location is perfect, really close to many transports and the Parliament.

The hostel was quite packed when we were there and our 8-bed room was full. The hostel is quite well maintained and well-located. However, the directions to the hostel on the HostelWorld website (where we booked the hostel) wasn't very well written. For those coming from the metro, take exit L and that should take you down the road towards...

+/- + really friendly and homelike atmosphere + in the centre of city, good location + kind staff who will show you interesting places in the city - rooms could be cleaner - breakfast and dinner could be better

I absolutely adored this hostel! I arrived early for check-in, as I was coming from a different hostel, and asked the staff if she could recommend anywhere for me to pass the time in the area. When her first suggestion was a donut shop/cafe that doubled as a book exchange, I knew I was in good hands. The hostel is...

We stayed in the hostel for two nights. When we arrived to Budapest, we followed the hostel's guide to find the place, and trust me, even with all the directions, it is hard to find. It has a tiny (almost hidden) sign. But anyway. Once we got there, the check in was done smoothly, although we got there in a...

I have recently been here and I just loved it! Warm, welcoming athmosphere, always helpful stuff, it truly feels like being at home. It is in the true heart of this pulsing city, in a lovely area, close to bars! It is very easy to visit around Budapest as well. Definitely recommend it!

I stayed 5 nights here and am happy I chose this one out of the many hostels in Budapest. The staff were very helpful, free dinners were a great way to meet fellow travellers, and the location was just right. It is close to the parliament and about 40 minutes maximum by foot to all the major destinations/nightlife.

I had the best time at this hostel! It's a converted apartment, so it's pretty small, but converted so nicely! The TV room is fun and cozy, the rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is super tiny, definitely only room for one person. 3 nights a week there is free dinner which was such a nice bonus....

Nice staff, and good location! They offer traditional dinner for free 3 times a week. It's really tasty! The breakfast is nice (bread, jam, milk, cereal, coffee and tea, some fruits). The hostel is just some steps from the parliament. I really recommend this place!

Perfect location near all the sights and public transportation and they had really nice staff. The hostel itself was quite small, but quaint. They had warm showers, bread and cereal for breakfast and free towels. I would definitely go back and plan on it!

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

We are a comfortable, friendly, bright, safe and well equipped small hostel where you can stay in mixed larger rooms or smaller private rooms. We are located in the heart of Budapest, near the Danube river, between the Parliament and Margaret bridge, on the Pest side of the river.
