It's a small hostel, situated inside an old building, but there's a great atmosphere. The people inside are like a big group of friends from all over the world, from the hostel staff to the travelers who decided to stay there indefinitely.

This hostel is only marked by a tiny sign on a doorbell. We had a bright, large room with eight beds and the people that we met and the staff made our experience. When I arrived, the lady on the desk (I wish I knew her name) marked out all the cool places to visit on a map. You put...

For its price is a good option, but definitely it could be better. The bathrooms are really tiny and uncomfortable, and the location is not the best. I went in low-season, so I didn't have issues with the showers, but I can't imagine this hostel in summer. Just 2 showers for like 30 people, hmmm...

Nice hostel with young staff that can help you with everything. Rooms all good and beds are nice. Rooms are with heating that was a little hot for me. Hostel was clean. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Good hostel to meet other people. Was with bicycle and could safely park them inside.

I stayed at Home Plus twice within a week and a half. There was absolutely nothing I could fault. The location is excellent, perfectly situated between Nyugati Railway Station and the Hungarian Parliament - it is a humble little hostel within an apartment complex. I found the beds comfortable, the dorm rooms large, the WiFi good, and communal areas cosy...

Really good location wise to visit all major sites. The receptionist was really helpful when we checked in and we pretty much followed all the things she said to do and everything was worth it. Definitely recommend joining their pub crawl, as it's hard to get around. Don't forget a padlock for the lockers. Only complaint was the free 'Hungarian...

The hostel is small, but very nice. The staff very friendly, they help you with what do you want. At the breakfast you will receive bread, jam, milk, cereals, coffee and tea. The location is perfect, really close to many transports and the Parliament.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
