We stayed at Colors at the beginning of July 2017, in a double private room. We really liked that the double private room was in a different building from the main hostel complex (about a 2 minute walk away, in a residential apartment complex), as...More
A really nice hotel in the downtown of Budapest. The atmosphere of the hostel was amazing, the receptionist helped me a lot, and Budapest is reall cool. Highly recommended this place, cool staff, clean place! Thank you guys!'
The hostel is located near bus and metro station where you can get to almost everywhere in the city. I stayed in a 8-bed dorm room and it was noisy at night so wasn't easy to sleep. The bathroom and kitchen were clean. Free breakfast...More

Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

Our hostel is in the inner city, so it takes about 1 hour if you take the public transport (then the cost is 700 HUF), if you take a taxi it's about 30 minutes to get here and costs around 7000-8000 HUF.
