This hostel is definitely not worth your money. You can find this kind of a place in Budapest for half the price. There is no hostel sign or reception, you just call the owner and he sends someone to meet you there. The guy was nice, but he had no idea on how long we were staying, what room we...

We stayed there 2 nights in the summer, we thought it was really cheap, but still the service is nice, very welcoming, we slept well, the room was clean, as for the bathroom. It is close to many many cool bars and not so far from the center, even though you have to walk a bit. We met nice people...

We were in ,,Lonely Girl" during May long weekend. It was really pleasant stay. Hostel is located on Wesselenyi street really close to Dunaj river and main parts of the city. That is very important for people who visit the city first time and want to get to know it. Rooms are clean and good-looking, showers are modern and toilets...

I stayed there 4 nights in december, those were the coldest 4 nights of my life. Minus 7 outside, koshava wind raging, and the rooms have no heating. Me and my boyfriend slept in one bed, in 3 sweaters, socks, hoodies over our heads. It didn't help.

Arrived in Budapest with a friend as an unexpected three day stop. Being the only hostel available at the time (due to the music festival) we were amazed it was only 6€ a night. The owner was very friendly and had a local tour guide working in reception so we were pointed in the right sightseeing directions straight away. Fantastic...

When we got there we could t quite find the hostel. So a quick txt to the owner and they hurried down and helped us with our luggage. He gave us a quick tour through our room and asked us if we needed help with anything. He was very helpful Unfortunately there was noone else staying in our hostel room...

A Lonely on the Planet Hostel in Budapest is a very small hostel located on the Pest side of the city and within walking distance of either the tram line that goes west towards the centre of the city, or the M3 line which is just east. The arrival requires you to call the owner, Valentin, and he is very...
